Skin API not loading all usernames

I've discovered the Starlight Skin API is not loading certain usernames. This can be seen on the API page where not all images of users in the credits are loading: https://lunareclipse.studio/creations/starlight-skinapi

It is returning:
{"error":"Unknown player username/uuid."}

I have the same issue if I try to query a uuid's skin more than once

Tagging @heady cobalt in this as I believe they are the architect behind this useful tool. Hopefully they can fix it as it's still down. Would be good to get an update.

update on this issue
if you call the api enough times it will work (for me it works about 1 in 15 times) when requesting the same user (regardless if using username/uuid)

Your comment here was unneccessary. You did not actually answer the person asking, but instead pinged someone you know is busy, and attempted to shame him by suggesting that access to his project is behind a paywall. Though, the API has never been behind a paywall.
Instead, you are trying to build resentment among others by suggesting Bret's volunteer work is actually a selfish thing.

I've started using this https://skin3d.cosmicfi.dev/ and just rendering it straight in the browser and disabling animation, it supports access to limbs and stuff, and it works for the time being, the lighting is no where near as good. I also just don't like how slow starlight is too.

Hey, I made a temporary personal solution for this, but only the part for rendering skins in poses using HTTP requests. If anyone would be interested and wanting to use it, feel free to message me. It's not open source yet, I need to first finalize its quirks etc. But it's already live and usable, but currently not open to public, but it's decent until starlight api is back up
