It sounds like you may have an issue with the resourcepack configuration causing Herobrine not to appear correctly. Make sure you've done the following:

  1. Ensure the resourcepack is enabled and correctly installed.
  2. Place the datapack in your resourcepacks folder as well.
  3. If you're using Forge, make sure your mod resources are above Minecraft in the resourcepacks list.

Additionally, if you're running both the mod and the datapack simultaneously, remember to enable just one of them to avoid conflicts.

Regarding the shrine not working, remember that its primary function is to bypass the 3-day wait for events to start. If the command is unknown, it might indicate an issue with how the pack is installed.

If you continue to face these problems, it might be helpful to reinstall the mod/datapack or check the compatibility with other mods you have installed.

If it still doesn't work after checking those placements, here are a few additional steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Verify Resourcepack Loading: Make sure the resourcepack is correctly loaded on your client. Check in the Minecraft resource packs menu to see if "From The Fog" appears and is enabled.

  2. Check Game Logs: Look at both client and server logs for any error messages related to "From The Fog" that might give clues on what's going wrong.

  3. Reinstall: Try reinstalling the datapack and resourcepack to ensure no installation errors occurred.

  4. Other Mods: Temporarily disable other mods to diagnose if there might be a compatibility issue even if no incompatibility was reported.

  5. Config Access: You can access the config using the command: /function fromthefog:admin/config (if it works, check settings).

If the issue persists despite trying these steps, it might be useful to involve <@&1107810118973792266> for further assistance.

i tried again, it works on single player but not in multiplayer for some reason, all the same mods are installed, what does it mean ?

If it works in single-player but not in multiplayer, there might be a server-side configuration issue. Make sure of the following:

  1. Server Datapack Installation: Ensure that the datapack is properly installed in the 'datapacks' folder of your server's world folder.

  2. Server Resourcepack: Although the resourcepack should primarily be on the client-side, ensure the server doesn't have any configurations blocking resourcepacks if it is required.

  3. Check Permissions: Ensure that the server has the necessary permissions set for players to experience the mod/datapack events.

  4. Multiplayer Compatibility: Use the datapack on the server instead of the mod, as the mod itself might have unexpected consequences in a multiplayer environment. The datapack is designed to be multiplayer-friendly.

  5. Server Console Logs: Check server logs for any error messages or warnings related to the pack.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, you may want to consult <@&1107810118973792266> to see if they have additional insights into server-related issues.

how do i fix it ? i have the resource pack installed in the server

# silent lance it says here it has loaded succesfully but has these error: [Worker-Main-1/ERRO...

This error suggests that there might be an issue with how the datapack and resourcepack are handling certain game elements, specifically referencing a missing block ("minecraft:short_grass") which might not be present in the current version or setup you're using.

Here's what you can try:

  1. Update Game/Mods: Ensure both your Minecraft version and the "From The Fog" pack are updated to the latest compatible versions. This can address missing references if updates have been made to fix these issues.

  2. Check Versions: Verify that all mods and datapacks on both client and server sides are the correct versions for your Minecraft version. Incompatibility arises when there's a mismatch.

  3. Datapack Reload: On the server, you can use the /reload command to refresh the configured datapacks. This might help resolve loading issues.

  4. Error Indication: The error indicates the missing reference might not interfere functionally, but does indicate something isn't being found as expected. Verify any documentation or updates regarding this version from the mod creator.

If verification steps don't resolve these, contacting <@&1107810118973792266> might be necessary for more detailed troubleshooting. They may have additional insights specific to advanced configuration and errors like this.

@abstract pilot hi im sorry for the ping but can you help ?

#

What means "not working"?

#

Oh nevermind I read your message

#

Sadly in these kinds of situations the main reason that could cause it would be a mod incompatibility. I'm afraid I can't exactly help you if it is, since we don't have a full list of incompatible mods.

I'd suggest trying to disable a few, seeing if it changes anything, and doing that until you can find a potential culprit.

Very sorry to disappoint.
