I can find no information on how to enable or install the files located in the github .zip file onto a linux game server based server, serving a bedrock edition server. I do see some information here using geyser with a java based server for cross platform play (I think). I'm really looking for just a simple 4 step guide on how to make this happen, setting a server up for my sons and am growing ever frustrated. Thanks! #1019864922496192602
#Installation on bedrock based server (LGSM)

Hey @low anvil, thank you for using our help channel!
unfortunately ftf is not available for bedrock edition
is there another version that is? I read something about a fan based. He's telling me he's playing it on Bedrock, since I've never installed or let him install a Java version (don't need the risk of him downloading a virus)
and thanks for the quick response BTW. I feel like an idiot, as a person with like 40 years of admin experience and a full server rack at home with 40Gbps networking backbone.
I can't tell you how aggrivating this task is. I set up an AI cluster last week with $1M worth of GPUs and this is more aggravating
there are no official versions for bedrock, afaik any fanmade version wouldnt really be ftf since bedrock just works differently than java so some stuff might not even be possible there
yeah, I'm familiar with the java vs bedrock stuff. I've run servers for him years ago but it's been a while and I didn't commit anything to memory.
I may just fold and let him run Java, but only off my server. I dont' want him going to a Russian mod site and infecting his computer.
imo setting up a geyser server is a good option in this case
