Each video (Alex mostly) interactions with signs and face to face getting increased and looks to specific. Answering him or guiding somewhere etc etc. Is he staging to build some immersion or is it the AI of this mod being modified? Because he mentioned his friend was doing something to the pack every now and then to add shock factor and stuff.
#So what's going on with Calvin's vids?

It is likely a combination of his friend modifying stuff and it being staged.
There’s no way to code generative AI in Minecraft datapacks that can interpret words and actions and respond accordingly. Datapacks can only run functions that are programmed.
yeah so I am not insane lmao. I don't mind it being staged every here and there yk. Its fun and he is building a world. Its just confusing because people were saying different stuff about it and I wasn't sure. Some of the scenes were looking too specific to be a mod from minecraft.
yeah, he’s making more of a narrative story than an authentic survival modded experience
which didnt he say in one of the earlier episodes in the season that it wasnt gonna be story-based? hmmm.
I haven’t actually watched any of Calvin’s season 2 things a lot of people just ask the same stuff
He did say that I think…
I don’t mind though, what he’s doing is fun to watch and I’m sure he’s having fun doing it.
it's staged in really few parts calvin made sure not to alter too much of the thing that could give him an advantage or smthn but does it just for that extra content or else it would be boring.
he said the first season was like a "story based" and "testing" part and that the second season was more like the freeplay version
generative AI herobrine !?!?!?!
Is not possible yeah
yet
Technically it is, but not easily and not in data pack function. You’d need an AI not only capable of interpreting the Minecraft world but also able to write datapack code
