Okay, so you have jumpscares enabled in the config, and you have walked directly into herobrine and it did not jumpscare you?

what version are you on, and is it singleplayer or multiplayer

Is it Essentials multiplayer or an actual server? if it is an actual server, if you are running Paper, paper notoriously does not work with FTF properly
