glitched sound effects?

i installed the mod + resource pack but a few of the minecraft sound effects are switched (zombies make cow noises, i hear dogs dying whenever a door opens, etc). does anyone know how to fix this?

That doesn’t sound like something the mod or resource pack would affect. Try turning of the resource pack (you don’t need it if you have the mod installed anyway, only if you use the resource pack)
Do you have any other mods or resource packs you’re using

oh, i thought i needed a resource pack for a multiplayer server (i just realized i didn't mention that it's a server before!). i don't have any other resource packs installed and it's happening for every other player as well.

if you are playing multiplayer the server needs the mod and so do all the players, or you install the datapack on the server and everyone would need the resource pack. that's very strange though. im not sure why that is happening.

i have the datapack installed and everyone also has the resource pack installed, everything looks normal/correct so i’m just really confused? lol

The mod/datapack cannot do this, check if you're being trolled.
