So I was trying to join the FTF SMP and I could get into the server, but as soon as I try to load the resource pack on the server it immediately kicks me out. I'm on Fabric 1.20.1 with quality of life mods and mods that make the game look nicer.
I was told to put this in this channel, so if anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening, please let me know and hopefully I can try to fix it.

FTF is completely multiplayer friendly! Be sure to use the datapack for any servers you may make as the mod may have unexpected consequences. Don't worry though, there is no difference between the mod and the datapack! If you have any other questions be sure to check out our website or other support tickets before asking.

try using the base game with no mods or packs, and see if it works, if it does looks like it has something to do with your mods/packs

originally TheMisterEpic's videos had gotten me reinterested in the legend considering the true story was finally revealed, and because of this, From The Fog videos kept getting into my recommended and decided to check it out

ok it worked, but this then begs the question what on earth mods do i have that break the resource pack

try removing modernfix and iris
and if that does not fix try removing entity model and entity texture
then it wshould work

sorta sucks since i even had a resource pack on that changed the textures of zombies and now i dont get to see them

mildly depressing because i felt the zombie skins i had couldve also added to the experience, but this isnt too bad of a loss comparatively

tried reenabling iris and modernfix while disabling the entity mods, didnt let me in, so now im trying all four

i dont think that work for the fact ftf is for 1.20 and up

no but the mods arent all updated, so it could also be a problem with that as well. worth a shot at least
