From the Fog questions

Hello everyone, couple questions about from the fog that I have after viewing a few of the discord questions.

1. Do you need to install both the mod and datapack for FTF to work or just one?
2. In order to get all the features from FTF, do you need to keep your world with cheats enabled or just cheats on to figure settings?
3. Does FTF work with other mods and resourcepacks?
4. Watching Calvin's video, is that big endermen like creature that chases you apart of FTF or is that a different mod?
5. how do i enable the achievements for FTF?

If Herobrine looks like a group of disc fragments, then you do not have the resourcepack enabled. Most common questions about the resourcepack are answered on our website, or in other support tickets.

You only need to enable cheats to use the configs

FTF works with everything as far as I know

The thing that chases Calvin is from a mod called Man From The Fog

You can enable achievements from the config, make sure cheats are on and type /function fromthefog:admin/config

Am i able to play from the fog with a friend?

Yes. If you don't have experience with servers, I recommend you both get the Essential mod and connect directly.
You can install From The Fog as a datapack on the world you create, and enable the resource pack (same file). When you host the world with Essential, select "Share RP" and your friend will be able to see herobrine without installing anything when they join

If you haven't seen herobrine, you may need to wait for a while. You can always test that he'll actually appear by spawning a test herobrine with /function fromthefog:admin/fake_herobrine/create. Just make sure to remove the fake afterwards

Is there any reason why some animals have white eyes??

I have this mod only beside a few other but they dotn affect it

This is part of another Herobrine mod

This is a bug caused by compatibility issues with another mod, if you want to prevent it you'll need to remove mods until you find the one causing it
Edit: as long as the zombie disappears along with herobrine, it's intentional to prevent the player from sleeping when he's nearby

Thats part of the "no sleep" option in the config

I was thinking they were talking about the husk issue

Yea, it spawns a indestructible baby husk near the player so they can't sleep

It'll go away after a bit but you can just turn it off

I've seen a compatibility issue where it doesn't despawn for some reason

That could very well be, but the original spawning isn't a bug

If you mean Fresh Animations, that's a resource pack and you may have not installed Entity Model Features

But it shows with /datapack list that endofherobrine is in it but nothing happend and ik on like day 20

Also when i have weeping angels from some reason i never see them

From the Fog doesn't have animals with white eyes if that's what you mean. That's a different herobrine mod

You can enable more things in the config, or turn on "Give It Control" which allows herobrine to turn things on himself

This version of herobrine is meant to adhere closely to the original creepypasta, a mostly unseen force in your world that alters things when you're not looking and which you only catch glimpses of. Its trying to capture that old feel of you not being alone in your Minecraft world. If you're looking for a herobrine mod where he's very hostile and evil and you can fight him or die to him, this mod is probably not for you. Try installing End of Herobrine, which has something closer to what you're looking for. It mixes pretty well with From The Fog.
