im very confused

so am i supposed to use the mod or the datapack or both and how do i know if its working or not?

The datapack and mod are the exact same in terms of features

We usually recommend the datapack for server hosting because server software makes the mod act strange sometimes. Either one works for singleplayer, up to you.

the settings are a lot different on here so if i set the day delay to off does that mean he should start spawning?
