I mean, there should be some consequences. Nothing huge, but maybe taking some damage, or getting some kind of sound effects, and so on.

i'm not positive, but i think that's what the jumpscare mechanic does

Jumpscare mechanic happens when you walk backwards into him—as to this post’s feature, there are some plans ;)

Yes but if you just happen to not see him, keep walking and allow him to lurk does he damage you in any way? I’ve only played the mod for a bit but he’s never actually harmed me, he’s just like a stalker.

So I’m trying to sort of say that maybe he should be more aggressive when he does pursue the player

Herobrine was never an aggressive entity in the original legend, it's the original mod that did that, but that isn't what we are aiming for. It has been confirmed by Bret that Herobrine will not attack the player.

I like the consequence idea but the damage side of things would be a take away from the Dp and not just that but would go against LES' motive with FtF..
Herobrine in the datapack is based off Original Lore Herobrine, Not Original Mod Herobrine..
There are differences between the two and some may argue which is true lore or not but the original lore is what FtF is based off, adding anything that can break Original Lore majorly would....... "Unbalance" consistency for the Dp..

Back to the start of this message, I do think a Consequence Event would be nice though.. ^u^
