#Is possible to set a custom default config?

FtF is amazing and everything, but the fact that we need to tweak the config on any new world can be annoying for some players that switch worlds frequently (my case 😜)

So, i wonder if is possible, maybe using a second datapack, to add custom default configs to FtF, so we dont need to walk over the config anytime we start a new world.

👀

#

is there any guide to do it?

you could just go into the config defaults and adjust them, it is by no means self explanatory so you'll need to do at least some research on how mcfunction works. That way anytime you apply the datapack to a world the config defaults will apply

#

currently there isn't a guide to it though

#

considering a lot of people ask these kinds of questions I might consider just making a guide to changing hardcoded values, structure spawns, and behavior chances myself

#

you can look in data\fromthefog\functions\admin\default_config.mcfunction and you can adjust the defaults there

ahh i see

#

and i need to shove it back to ftf datapack, right?

#

i dont know if putting that file on a separate datapack and loading it above ftf would work

well actually I suppose you could create a seperate datapack that just runs all the configuration commands automatically I'm surprised I forgot you could do that

er... that would be too much complex for me
