#Datapack messes up text on signs
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
And now it's working normal even though I didn't change anything
@naive grotto Please help me understand lol
And now it's messed up again
That sign looks like it's being affected by a mod
It wasn't doing this until I added from the fog, and it doesn't do it when I remove it
Ik I'm saying another mod must be interfering with FTF.
Ok
We can come back to that later, I have another issue
Do you want me to make a separate thread for it
Ehh sure
@naive grotto Ok well back to this debacle
Do you have any idea which specific file of the datapack might be causing this?
It's not ftf
ftf can't cause this
it's something causing ftf to cause it
that was weird xD
I don't even know how to respond to a sentence like that xD
Pff
Would there possibly be something about it in my log
Maybe
What mods do you have?
Can I have a list?
Oh ok
that is A LOT
It's only 97 plus optifine
I mean I'm used to playing with like 300
I like modpacks where I can literally do anything I could think of lol
But anyways, this is my modpack
I've been looking and it will take me all day to check all the mods
Something in there messes with signs
I just don't know what
if that mean what I think it mean we're in trouble
big trouble
and if he is as bananas as you say I'm not taking any chances
LOL
you're just the one the doctor ordered
I'm beginning to feel like a rap god
rap god
all my people from the front to the back nod
back nod
who thinks their arms are long enough to slap box
slap box
they said I rap like a robot
so call me rap bot
rapping like a computer must be in my genes
I got a laptop in my back pocket
my pen will go off when I half-cock it
got a fat knot from that profit
made a living and a killing off it
ever since bill clinton was still in office
I quit
xD
Well without looking at the mods, do you have any clue?
Actually I think I might know what it is
No, I'd need to
I checked a few
Well it's not passthrough signs like I thought
@naive grotto It's not from the fog, I guess it was just a coincidence that it stopped happening when I removed it
Oh
Neat
Do you know what it is?
I can figure it out
@naive grotto Did you try to make an 18.2 version?
Yes
A while ago
@naive grotto
Oh yeah, the structures were so different that they required a full rewrite and some just wouldn’t work anymore.
Sorry about the delay I will have to fix the ro once I’m back at my pc
That's alright
@naive grotto Do you wanna take this to dms though? Because we really should delete this thread since it's not a problem with the datapack
Nope
Someone might find it helpful
How is that possible
What if someone uses the same pack
There have been times where VERY SPECIFIC threads help people
What are you talking about, nobody plays my modpack xD
And anyways, I'm gonna update it when this is fixed
I’m sure some people use the resource-pack you’re using right?
I made it specifically for my modpack
So if anyone used it outside of the modpack, they would be very confused
@naive grotto Dude I can't figure this out. And the weirdest thing is that it's random. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes the text is only a little fucked up, sometimes it's really fucked up.
What pack is that? It looks awesome
@naive grotto Have you had a chance to look at that resource pack?
@supple sand does the VHS overlay exist as a pack on its own?
@crude palm
I dug through the modpack for you. It uses the shader from the link below, in combination with this crtfilter.png image to make it's CRT filter. You'll likely need something like fancy menu or some other mod to overlay it in your game.
https://github.com/ckosmic/minecraft-psx/releases/tag/1.1.0
also found this in the files, looks cool
Don't use that version of the shader, use the one that's included in the pack. It fixes a lot of shit that was broken in the original
Thanks :))
ah, hold on
hold on
Holding on
version of the shaders included in the modpack
comes with the shaders and the settings that were used in the modpack
Thanks :3
@naive grotto
Never mind, I finally figured out that it was the shader
Oh wow
