Why do I see hoes on my local server and how can I fix it?

I'm trying to use FTF on my local server (without my friends knowledge). I've moved the datapack in the datapack folder in the server and tested it with "datapack list enabled" and it is indeed present. The problem arised when one of my friends claimed seeing a "Hoe invisible man". Is there anyway I can fix this? (I've already read all the FAQ but nothing helped)

They should not be hoes

They should be disc 5 shards

Update and apply the pack

Also as I stated in a previous message I had to delete, your friends need to install the resourcepack.

If you’re just using a datapack, you need to all install the resourcepack

Yep but I'm a noob to this stuff, so I thought that the datapack was the only thing I had to install

Not if you enable it in server.properties

then the server will download it for them
