heyo folks.
i'd like get some suggestions for resourcepacks/mods that make fog better.

i have MC 1.19.4 fabric.

Foggier fog (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/foggier-fog) is a resource pack that makes the world foggier, you can also make the fog start closer with the use of Optifine or Reese's sodium options,
If you wanna go full on spook mode, I'd suggest this mod called Nostalgic Tweaks (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/nostalgic-tweaks)
I know that one miiight not be exactly what you're looking for, but it does include fog options as well!

i'm aware about nostalgic tweaks.
honestly, i do not want to bother with it.

contains way too much shit to disable but fog.

about resource pack however - i need to check it with shaders, so thank you.

i can't use better fog or fog looks better now because authors of said mods did not update them to 1.19.4

I do have a shader suggestion if all else fails..
The shader is called 'Complimentary Shaders', use it for the From the Fog all the time and is very customisable, to let you know before you look into it...
Its not Minecraft fog but its atmospheric fog meaning it will look different compared to minecrafts fog..
If you give me a second after I send this I will see to sending some pictures..

Ooooh, so there is two different ones, with complimentary reimagined I adore because its so beautiful but it doesnt allow for Fog editing..

No worries, I want to add, I think there may be a setting in the Shaders that auto turns off fog when entering caves, so you may have to also to look for setting that messes with that..

But test to see if the caves do that first, dont want you to run through settings thinking its already on.. XD

And I dont suggest this to people to get them to do exactly step by step but kinda helps them along the way understand how to find and change fog settings, the customisability is the main reason I suggest this to everyone.. CX
Also to be fair, I actually turn the density down for a lot of reasons..
I may turn it up again but like it being too dense makes things too hard to see at times..

I dont think I have that one installed but what I do think has happened is that originally I downloaded enhance celestials which messes with the mod as we all know (atleast those who know about the mod) and so upon uninstalling it I think it had messed with the world becuase upon reinstalling it and properly as well my issue was fixed.. XD
I think Iris isnt a fan of changing the vanilla moon with mods and then deleting them but I could be wrong..
