How much ram do you have dedicated to the game?
4 now, I'm currently playing and it's going ok but I have him set to rare so idk if he'll show up anytime and crash again. I haven't seen him yet so I'll keep you updated
I wanted to say the ram was the issue but after I changed it still crashed one last time, but after relaunch I've been playing for about 15 mins with no issue
This hasn't happened to anyone else to my knowledge. So it could be one of your other mods.
yeah it just happened again 🤦♀️ it doesn't happen with from the fog not installed though, it's not the ram ig
is there a way I can figure out what mod it might be from the crash log?
I'll gladly get rid of whatever is causing the issue for from the fog instead lol
just removed a bunch of performance mods I had, I get little stutters now which is very annoying bc my pc by no means is bad but hopefully it won't crash now. we will see

with that installed I get the message "etc \AppData\Roaming.minecraft\mods\From-The-Fog-1.19-v1.8.1-Forge-Fabric-Crash-Fix-Maybe.jar has mods that were not found"
I put etc bc my user file name is my name name that I don't want to share but you get the gist

and apply the resourcepack
the mod and datapack are the exact same
it could be a matter of forge just being weird

well doing what I said (if that's what you meant) with your crash fix version still says "has mods that were not found" so I'll try with the original file
oke I just used the fake herobrine spawn command and it worked fine he showed up without crash so I'm going to play for a min to test if the issue was just me putting the datapack in my save specific folder instead of the general one

The game crashed whilst exception ticking world
Error: org.spongepowered.asm.mixin.transformer.throwables.MixinTransformerError: An unexpected critical error was encountered
This is probably a Mixin conflict with another mod. Whenever Herobrine spawns, another mod is trying to do something kooky with its AI and causes a crash. You might want to try binary searching (I'd recommend removing mob grief options, exotelcraft, ai improvements, hunter illagers, and dungeons arise first because those seem most likely)
kooky is such a funny word lol, How would I go about doing a binary search idk much about mc mods and what does and doesn't mix well together I'm only just now getting into java
Binary Searching
The binary search is a way of finding a faulty thing among a lot of other things, without having to remove the things one-by-one.This is useful for finding a broken mod among hundreds of mods, without having to spend time testing the mods one-by-one.
The procedure is simple:
- Remove half of the existing things, and put them aside.
- Run the program / game.
- Does the issue still exist?
If YES: Repeat from step 1 with the current things.
If NO: Swap out the current things with the ones set aside, and repeat from step 1.- Repeat this process until the problematic thing/s have been found

welp removing ai improvements I just saw his spooky ass like 3 times with no crash. so ig from the fog is incompatible with Ai Improvements
but I'm not positive yet, I'll update if I have anymore issues
Thought it might be that as well, it changes the code for almost all of Minecraft's mobs. If I'm not wrong, Herobrine changed mob types to allow him to walk in the new version, which is probably why the new update started breaking things
Actually mods, it might be a good thing to post a list of known incompatible mods somewhere
