Good idea, but I do think it can inconvenience the player (i.e. if they had important information on the signs)
I think the text should revert back to normal or when the player tries to interact with the sign (i.e. break it, right click, etc)

it could say behind you and then revert to normal if you turn around😱

Maybe it could add "null" to every empty line on the sign, since we do have the null skin.
