How long have you been playing?
What version?
If you're on a server what type?
what jar?
this world was generated before i added the datapack
server is Paper/bukkit
won't affect the sightings
It hasn't been proven to work on paper
however it should
what is your tps?
/tps
hmm
i've tried going to the nether then coming back, to see if he destroys torches or anything
Sad issue
but nah. nothing happens
It takes a tad more than that for things to happen
it MAY be im just really, really unlucky and hes taking his time but i dont think that can be the case
This is made for the average gameplay experience meaning the things he does don't happen super often
here
/function watching:events/sightings/creeping
run that
doesnt it trigger once a day?
and go in f5
(the torces)
and look behind you
It attempts to trigger once per day
behind you
nothing at all, took a screenshot just to send it here
tried some of the other functions, nothing also ahppens
including the crashing one
/scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar herobrineSkinConfig
then tell me what it says
Never ever run stray functions
hold on, accidentally restarted minecraft while trying to look on discord. gotta reopen it
T_T
they can trigger unexpected events
ah i see, sorry
it does work on paper, because i had another server (to just test it) and he was doing stuff there. atleast placing the structures
that took ALOT of a while to send
jesus
still opening..
The structures will always work
they are like vanilla structures
they generate on Worldgen
ohh, i see
Here what plugins do you have?
/scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar
OnePlayerSleep, BeHerobrine, BetterGiants, ImageFrame, ProtocolLib
BeHerobrine?
really old plugin that lets you talk as herobrine
incase it matters, i do have two more datapack's alongside from the fog
which is notorious for breaking datapacks
one is just craftable elytra recipe
not gonna break itr
i see
trying to do the cleanup function just says that there is no herobrine loaded
i forgot to mention that
(i did it just now, to check)
one moment
specifically sending this, since it might do something that could break without me being aware
if i do the /function watching:events/sightings/creeping then cleanup, it does remove herobrine. so its atleast loading, i think
oh
doing it again. now it isnt
T_T
this is so inconsistent
When herobrine spawns
he looks for a place to position himself
once positioned
he places his model
It seems it is a problem with the model not placing
could you switch to spigot?
huh
i had to go to a new chunk though
how in the hell
That makes absolutely no sense ._.
let me try going back to spawn, it might be something with old chunks?
I'm so confused
ii dont know either
is there a repeating command block anywhere?
no
well then
went back to spawn/house, doesnt work when im there
...and now it does
what is GOING ON
i think it just. ended up fixing itself somehow and now it works
Well that's good to hear
thank you for helping!!
I am now gonna bug test the shit out of the datapack now
Our testers found nothing in the entire week I gave it to them
:D
a'ight
and 5 blocks behind you were solid?
yeah
the block you're on doesn't matter
I was just checking if it was solid
He is weird about paths
and slabs
i took a screenshot right when he spawned. so it might have been just the animation of the Glitch skin? or me being on low chunk rendering too
The glitch skin is known for being...glitchy. It has the most complex model of any of the Herobrine skins. The eyes in particular have visual bugs, especially with mods that effect graphics in almost any way
That isn't the glitch skin
oh wait
scratch that
I am wrong
I got the vertical repetition of the eyes on my end with it, too. I chalked it up to Optifine freaking out over the cube count
hmm
a'ight
It also sort of adds to the creepiness of that skin IMO
