im someone who just loves writing the most random essays ever on my favorite medias, i usually write essays on character analysis ! or to make it more fun, the deeper meaning in the colors of the background and to craft cool theories and stuff even if it doesnt make sense theres always a way around it and make it make sense !! :- )
i think that Ted as a character would be super fun to do an analysis on as we don't dip in too much to his background story and stuff

If it is a deep analyse of the actual characters, I'd see that as fitting in as a faq rather than art or fic.

Yea, the faq was an original channel that Max and Pablo put here before I started helping as admin, but it seems to have been used for information, questions e.t.c. regarding nocturnals
So it's quite flexible. If the analyse was fictional then I would say fanfic
But a character analyse can actually be quite useful and be good for discussion as a faq
