How to deal with different image sizes in Payload 3

Hi there,

Say I have 5 different sizes of an image. Ideally, I would like to specify each focal position per size. Is this possibe? Ideally I would be able to crop the image to the view it needs to be in (sizes).

Or should I use different fields for this?

Yes, however they resize based on the focal point. Ideally, I would like to "move the original image" in the cropview, so Payload generates them. AFAIK Thats not possible with that option.

You can also pass in custom sharp options, maybe something there would help?

Thanks for helping, however it seems that Sharp then decides by itself what the size will be (or I need to say cover, contain etc). Ideally I want to do this per image basis.

Once V3 hits stable, I might be able to squash out a plugin for that
