Biggest tips for those who don’t know according to my experience. Only use jump pads if you have active nitro and use Oswald charged ult at tight corners such as the one before the finish line.

I hit 1:36.580. I'm top 50% right now but its very early and I'm still learning the event

the 24 hours cooldown is EVIL though. that means you only get 21 tries for the entire event

hopefully I'll naturally be pushed up too by the more people playing

Oswald is a trickster so I don't think you can get nitro from the pads

unless you're already boosting i mean

I really see no reason to gatekeep the mid-season crew

doesn't matter if you unlock them when you can't get the character anyways, so why hurt people who did earn the character

you can't even buy mid-season crews with real money. they're just MIA all the time

Got a 1:31,xxx. Never used any Jump field, because they are you massively down.
I used Oswald's long executed ultimate in sharp turns, so you safe some time in there

Watching these runs videos and on YouTube. I pretty much do perfect runs but I always end up with 10 secs extra. Why? Does lag effect time! Even though I don’t think I’m lagging.

Just as @austere beacon said hit the pads while your nitro is in use. It’ll up your nitro so you can keep it longer

Here’s my run at 1:31:034!
I activated the unique charged at the end there a bit late, but still got me a good time~ hope it helps!
My tip is try to only use jumpies when you’re running out of boost, but consistently drift more than anything. Oswald is a Trickster so he benefits from drifting a lot! Only use his unique in tighter corners or when you’re close to the finish line to cut that corner and reach the goal faster

Good news is every day that passes between now and next Friday morning more and more people will enter the event therefore increasing the percentage ranges as a whole so getting top 25% or higher won't seem as a chore as it does now.

You’ll have to convert to your own currency but in tokens the unlock was something like 1,850 for 10 shards and then you could buy 20 more for 1,200 which are the two packs I bought to get mine to 2*

Maybe if I actually got my earnings that I won, it would be nice! Those “TOKENS” are extremely expensive, so I’m not very happy that this keeps happening. I’ve lost thousands and thousands of “TOKENS” because of whatever error is going on behind the scenes. Yes, I have submitted several tickets but I am not had anyone resolve the issue for me yet.

Find a character with similar stats and practice in free play is my best advice. Ignore ALL air jumps and item pickups (except the item on the trampoline section and prey its his unique move, and hold it for the final turn)

all three of my tries today were 1:39 (something). I think for me I also struggle with that perfect boost start at the beginning and then the bots are right in my way

My best time so far is 1:37 though so at least I’m in the 50% I guess. I didn’t jump for items and saved my ear hopter for that last turn

The easiest method to get a perfect boost at the start line for me is to start charging RIGHT when the 1 appears

I was at 1:34.884 just a little bit ago and that was top 25% when it was top 10% yesterday. Got to 1:33.357 just now and that made top 10%.
Whenever it refreshes for you I would say try to shave a little time off just to be safe but it’s possible you won’t have to worry about it and ur good

got a 1:30 recently. try to aim for 1 oswald ult per round, use it right before the last air pad to skip the last curve. for airpads i only use the 2 right before the net jumps. good luck
