Can we please get a breakdown of how points are added or subtracted in Ranked games? Bots or not bots its making no sense, i finished Top 3 the last two games and i am losing 15 points? why? Then a few races later i end up finishing 5th and get 20 points back? what on earth is going on with how these points are being calculated?

Wow! Thats nuts! It makes no sense, and i have given up on ranking any higher at this point, until its more clear.

The same for me. Im Emeraud With goofy and i dont understand the ranked point. Just +10 point for 1st place and next race im 2nd and i lost -40 points...

You got negative point when someone with less MP level beat you, like I’m 10 someone is level 2 on multiplayer I can loose almost 120 points. But I agree nothing is explained

25+ Mpr require 300 points instead of 200.. If you get low mpr lobby it get very long...

You should earn points based on placement like in Mario Kart, but eventually hit 0 for dead last. None of the subtracting points which is so stupid.

Agreed! Especially since currently besides paying or having luck with Loot boxes this is the only way to get shards for a character you want. It sucks even more that until you get 20 Shards you are down a skill while others you are playing against could have their special making it that much harder to compete.

Mario kart 8 is a casual game if you ever played the wii version which was very punitive. It was a prestige to keep the max rating 9999. You could lose 300 as you could win only 25 with a low level lobby and also lose points in second place.

what would be good is that regardless of the number of players it would take an equivalent point gain in each game. I'm Emeraude with Dingo RMJ 21 and can't climb above 15 points because there are only bots in the race. I would like to unlock everything for dingo but the climb is almost impossible apart from earning 15 points at each race which seems very long to me

Thats so frustrating, i stopped playing Ranked all together till they fix that.
