The release of the game should have been 12:00 here in EU and still no Speedstorm that we can buy? Don't say you will launch a game and then in the end don't have the game released on the time...

I have the same Problem. When I try to buy the Ultimate Pack it says I need to buy the Game first. But the game can´t be bought.

This exact same thing happened when Dreamlight Valley was released, took them two hours after release to sort it.

I was in the discord for that when it was happening, apparently it’s Steams issue. They aren’t very good with the founders pack thing, they need to bundle the packs with the game which they haven’t done as yet

The founder's packs are listed as DLC, and in order to purchase any of those you need to "own the main game". The problem is, there is no purchase option for the "main game". WTF?

BTW, this is not Steam's faults. Gameloft didn't properly label the packs.

Disney Speedstorm and Gameloft, please fix the Steam issue. It says that you can’t buy any of the founders packs because you don’t own the game, but the game is NOT available to get for free or for money or anything. So your just stuck waiting and can’t play. 😒

I gifted the Ultimate pack to my son and he can't accept the gift, cos he also needs base game ... Whoever came up with idea to sell it like DLCs should be fired immediately ... never saw something so stupid like this on Steam ...

Steam always unlocks the new games around 6 p.m. CET. Therefore, I believe that the problem will be solved in just under 2 hours.

They could fix the Steam issue by bundling it like other Early Access Free-to-play Games.

The bundles include the (free-to-play) game itself PLUS the dlc.

Apparently you need to assign a value to the free-to-play game (for example 5 bucks) in the bundle and simply subtract it from the Founders Pack cost.

(These games do not sell the free-to-play game for 5 bucks -> it's just something they need to set to make the bundles work on Steam)

That's why pre-orders / early access for free-to-play games on Steam are bundles which include the game PLUS the founder's pack.

The DLCs shouldn't be listed outside the bundle (-> They should be made unavailable / N/A outside the bundles)

Otherwise the first buying option shown (for people who go on the founder's pack pages) doesn't work.

Solution would be to simply set the DLCs itself to N/A and only have them available as part of the bundles.

try send a message to the mailbot in the General game chat, in that channal they have a modmail bot, try to send a message to that bot don't know how long time it will take until they see the message though

You have two options:

a) Buy one of the bundles on the account you gifted it to (your son's account) -> then he can also redeem the gifted DLC. (It needs to be a DIFFERENT founder's pack than the one you gifted)

b) Decline the gift. This will issue a refund to the original sender (your account). Keep in mind that you are currently not able to gift this game anymore. So you'd need to purchase it directly on your son's account.
