I’m having the same issue. I paid for the ultimate founders pack and have not been able to progress past the first 2 races because it has coding error where it would shards and it says error instead of being able to upgrade, and I’ve noticed they’ve openly addressed all other issues but have been radio silent about this one

I’m hitting people as sully with the side back and half the time instead of spinning out like they normally do when a brawler hits them I am hitting them and making them spin out but go faster than me so they actually gain track ahead of me from me hitting them…. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of hitting them if it’s just gonna help them.

I still cannot upgrade my racers despite having plenty of the required currency (there’s so many types of currencies, I tend to lose track of what is for what) . I also cannot access the shop, it is grayed out. On the upgrade screen, I am presented with a big red error symbol, and the one time the upgrade option was available, clicking it produced no results, just an action sound. This is really troublesome, because I cannot proceed in the circuit races, until I upgrade my character. Also when playing in the free play mode or ranked races, I am very very very behind my peers because they have all upgraded and have generally faster skills, better abilities etc.

Having some boosting issues. The item drops were ridiculous this game. 5 seconds into the match almost 3/4ths of a lap ahead. (Post PS5 patch)

my game freezes at the beginning of matches and i get 10 seconds behind everyone else, sometimes my screen is still showing the racers and ill instantly be thrown into the game without the countdown also making me behind, on the nintendo switch

In-Race music became slow and extremely low in pitch. Resolved after restarting game. Unsure what caused this, but it sounded eery in an interesting way? Clip program wasn't working so I do not have anything to show this unfortunately.

Finally things are starting to get better was finally to catch up on all my upgrades and rewards. Now the game is a bit more enjoyable…….but music still sounds awful and still flat and laggy in some parts. Its hurts my ears its that annoying.

On my Elizabeth Swann I'm able to equip 2 Crew members, James Norrington and Marty, on the Crew editor I only see Marty added and one empty slot when I try to equip James Norrington it says it's being used in another slot. Restarting the game and doing races or something else in game doesn't solve it.

When choosing the character, Mike Wazowski disappears. For it to appear again I had to close the game and open it again.

Half the time mikes doors don't work

They either disappear for no reason, or when you enter them they take you nowhere. Sometimes they'll appear directly in front of you, and other times they spawn way too far away so you think they disappeared.

I just had an unusual interaction with a grind rail by it seems getting on it at a low height and an odd entry angle. This gave me it seems ground boost speed, removed all my controls till I got off the rail and propelled me fowards unusually through the air

On Starter Circuit for Donald, I had the game crash on me once when I was winning and ever since then I can replay the level and meet these goals but the screen is still kind of grayed out and won't let me go ahead and wrap this level up. It's my last two medals before 100% that chapter! LOL

Alright what in the heck happened in this race, I cannot see how this belle got ahead of me let alone beat me by 9 seconds. They never passed me, and you can see toward end I pass 1st placeman the turn before finishline and then am magically in 2nd losing by 9 seconds. Am I missing something? Did they glitch or something, also the 3 belle furniture in a row is a bit fishy also

There's currently no way to earn the three achievements for medals on PlayStation 4 and 5 if you've already previously earned it on another platform. The three achievements/trophies are Rookie, Pro and Master. An example is if you've already earned 50, 150, or 300 medals on PS4 or Xbox and then load up the PS5 version, it doesn't automatically unlock, nor can you earn it by unlocking an additional medal.

I just discovered more trophies that I can't earn on PS4 if I've already earned them on PS5 or on another platform. I've even tried incrementing them, for example, on the multiplayer rank 100, I got on PS4 and went from 100 to 101 and it still didn't trigger the trophy for reaching 100. These are the other trophies that don't work. Currently Training Hard, and Be Our Guest. I haven't tested but I can only assume Framed!, Perfectly Poised and Friendly will suffer the same fate as the aforementioned trophies.

I play on PC and when I race, A lot of the time my Accelerator glitches at the start of a race and gets stuck. I press break to try and stop it but it rarely does. Makes it hard to hit the sweet spot and get the boost at the start.

Think I just saw my first Hack/Glitch, it was like the person had the cloak on all the time, but their racer wasn't showing the cloak animation, this was through the entire race. Not at one point could I dash into them or use skills on them.

After winning a ranked match, as you’re getting xp, quickly go into the shop before the points are added, the sound effect of the points will still continue in the background and will never stop. If you try to start another match, the app will crash half the time, if it doesn’t, the sound effect will still never leave the background throughout your race until it either crashes or you restart the game

In nintendo switch ranked multiplayer the game keeps starting the race without the user , when is this going to get fixed are people working on this already?

In several games I've encountered following issues on Switch.

1. When drifting the direction switches to the opposite.
2. When starting a race it's almost impossible to time the start correctly since there is a huge delay. This delay persists throughout the rest of the race and severely affects gameplay.
3. Beasts ult is not working as intended. Instead of getting a rose other items show up.

I'm having a problem when playing online modes (regulated or ranked). Sometimes (almost every race) I have a delay, and I start the race when have been passed 20 seconds. Just started a race with the timer at 45s.
I think it is a bug, because it happens in regulated too. When this happens, the entire race also don't have background music, and the racers in the mini-map keeps changing her places, really strange

Playing on PC and cant limit FPS. Getting 300+ FPS .. The settings for this dont work. Only when using VSync its capped by 144 like my monitor but only wanna run on 60 or 120 fps

Was just doing a race in the latest Season chapter.

Steam didn't allow a repair and said "disk error" while Windows Security (I guess I'll turn it off?..) so I uninstalled and is redownloading now.

What you're seeing here is me getting locked into drifting. Even well after I've let go of the drift button, the character continues to drift. And seemingly nothing I do can stop this. I don't actually know what causes this, so I can't replicate it consistently. But it has happened and handful of times. Sometimes after being hit/obstructed while drifting. Other times, while snaking or otherwise quickly inputting drift directions.

Still getting extreme lag on specific courses, notably Under Construction, to the point that I can't progress any further in the game as I'm unable to make out what's happening on screen. Just confused why this is a early access game but you aren't acting on the feedback about the rubberbanding AI it literally ruins the game. And the Last one standing mode is broken im 3 levels higher then the recommended level yeah lose because i get eliminated when im not at the back, i was in 4th i just stunned a driver and over took them before the timer ended and it was me that get eliminated.

1. The Lag or Rubber banding , (I'm not down with the lingo) is out of this dimension for Australian Players going up against players in the USA. Its crazy.

2. "Last one standing" is broken, you are in the last place, make it up the standings out of last place but still get stung with last position penalty

Plataform: PC/Steam. Issue: In Ranked Multiplayer, in Bronze the computer/shadows have been gaining and overusing the Teleport. So much that more than once I saw all computer characters using 3 times, consecutively. (note: I had a steady internet, so I don't believe it was a bug....?) This happened regardless of my characters' level, and generally when there were few actual players in the race.

Are there any fixes for the random crashes, no error message, on PC (Steam)? I've turned off any anti-virus such as windows defender so nothing will react to that trojan that has been found in the gamefiles before.
This issue is still very active.
It's not on my end performance wise,
Ryzen 9 7900, 32 gb ram, nvme ssd, rtx 4070ti.
It's quite frustrating as this can happen when ranked games start or exactly whenever wherever in the game.

Not a performance issue per so, but as there's no decicated post for audio issules, I'll put it here: After todays's update, the sound mix feels partially pretty off (playing on PS5 with 5.1 output enabled).

Some sound effects like tire squals are noticably muted.
Voice-over is barely audible.

i will start a race as normal then i will notice that i am in first and no one is close and im not seeing any specials being used, then i start passing the other placers they are all kinda stuck in the same place if you look on the mini map their faces looking lighter then normal and they just hovering in one place, soon as i cross the finish line i continue to drive around and i can still jump and dash while being auto driven round the map i have to leave race for it to end it

Why did you release this game
on Switch when you clearly cant optimize it.

1. Race starting while the racers are still being presented for me.
2. Huge delay while turning, stunning and accelerating.
3. What is shown on screen is not what happening so synch issues i presume. Abilities are effective me while i cant see them.
4. Connection issues where the race on my end us ongoing while the other racers are not driving. When crossing finish line the race doesn't end.

This season launch has been pretty buggy so far

1. On PS5, the back button and collection button don't work at all on the collection menu. I've heard it's the same problem on Switch.
2. Also the obvious issue with online races freezing up and the results screen never showing. Happened to me twice now.

Not sure if this qualifies as performance issue but the Exit function in Collections doesn’t let you Exit. You have to press L1/R1 to get out of it. It hard to see in the video, but I am pressing O and you can see it fade in and out when I press it.

I've been expecting lags and really low frame rates whenever finishing a race on any mode. And recently, I finished a race on Ranked Multiplayer and it bugged out just like from CTR Nitro-Fueled where the users get dropped from the race except for one.

Sometimes to start/finish a limited event, appears the message "Synchronizing - The game is currently being synchronizing with the server. Please wait."

It happened in season 1 too, sometimes, but now is almost every race and the wait time is increased by minutes. It's a long wait. Restarting the game fix the issue sometimes, if I'm lucky.

I'm just opening the game, going to limited events (that dailies ones) and starting a race, then the game starts synchronizing for 4-5 minutes to start and more 5 minutes to finish the race.

I play on Xbox and when I get into races and go to rev up my kart the dial doesn't move at all, and there is zero sound like I'm not even pushing on the gas button, which I am, the race starts and my kart does go but there is zero way to tell now if I'm gonna get off to a really good start or a really bad start (when you are in the red portion of the meter). The limited events in switch are awful , we have so much disadvantage compared to the other platforms when trying to get defenders and trickster boost,the game it's freezing and having an awful frame rate at the start it makes it so inaccurate and hard to get, either fix the frame rate of the game in switch or give switch users a bigger gap chance for the boost,we already have so much disadvantage by the map looking blurry make at least something good for your switch users.

Drifting in the opposite of the intended direction is still happening. This has been an issue since the game launched, and I was really hoping it would be a priority issue looked into. This happened on day one and it’s still bugged 3 months later.. My Hercules is unuseable as he has Phil Locke din as a permanent crew member and can’t be removed, even though it shows I have 2 free crew slots it has him there and says he’s already equipped and can’t be removed, if I add 2 crew members it comes up with an error every time so I am needing to race with no crew members boosts to be able to use Hercules but that makes it impossible in ranked.

Flowrie asked me to record my Pirate Map crashing and here is one (the latest one). What I found out is, that while I was playing in local or regulated, I don´t think I have crashed there yet. It only seems to crash in ranked mode. I was testing different graphic settings as well. It does crash with high settings as well with low settings. If that helps. Edit: Oh and it crashes with different racers as well. Not only Woody like here shown in the video. I wanted to add another video from another crash now, but realised that the message timer is on 2 hours. I just add a few more things here: I´m actually crashing on all availabe Pirate Maps and the crash seems random at times. One crash was even right in front of the finish line, which was the most frustrating one. 😅 Mostly I crash to desktop, but I had a few games, where it said "I lost Internet connection" and then went back to the menu, but that was very rare.

Added 2 more videos on the pirate map crashing. I think that should be enough evidence. The video where I crashed with Captain Gantu was actually in regulated. That was the first time though where it happened now. Another player crashed, before I crashed to the desktop, as you can see and it´s not at the same spot like the other 2 videos. Can confirm pirate track crashes got 3 crashes today on that map, atleast no disconnect but now the game crash during the race on pirate map. Since Season 3 i have stutter micro lags during the race sometimes, I have tryed to reduce the graphic settings but dont make a difference if i go low or mid or high its still stuttering. Please make a performance update to fix this. Season 1 and 2 was fine only crashes but no single lagg or stutter during the race only desync.

Overall there are performance issues on android, on my s20fe( snapdrgon 865 phone), which is a midrange phone.
It isn't really a problem in single player mode (though there is some lag and stuttering from time to time it isn’t super unbearable) but online it is magnified by a lot. To the point where you are looking at a slideshow. I like this game, I bought the founders pack but I hope it gets optimised before launch on android and iOS.

every multiplayer ranked game, at th=e start there is alwyas lag. most games are 3, 2, 1 go. but since the update, speedstorm has been 3, 2, 1, lag. go. on steam version.

Normally the time for ranking matches ends at 59sec with a notification that no matches found.

Now the time goes in loop from 0 to 59. No notification and no match.
BUT i still loose points and fall down MPR... thats really annoying.

When we level up the character, during the level transition I felt that the game lags. It kind of crashes, I mean, it slows down and ends up not performing well.

When I see it playing on other devices, it looks great. But on the PlayStation 5, when leveling up and changing levels, there is some lag.

It would be nice to have better optimization. And I feel like the nitro (turbo) needs to be stronger on the PS5. We seem to have lost a bit of speed on the PlayStation 5.
