As mentioned in the description, I envision an interactive environment.
An environment where actions and interactions with local conditions have temporary or lasting effects on the map and the gameplay experience.
Here are a few examples:
-
Radio towers: If there are radio towers or stations, it would be realistic that restoring power to these stations could re-establish radio connections and thus enable communication
-
Water treatment facilities: If there is a sewage treatment plant or a water treatment facility where dirty, salty, or contaminated water is purified using equipment and the addition of electricity and other chemicals to clean the water.
-
Destruction of houses or other structures: This point is pretty self-explanatory. If a house has been damaged so severely by tools or weapons that it can no longer stand, it should be temporarily destroyed and must be able to be rebuilt using materials.
-
Interactions with animals: Simply hunting animals for food is a fundamental part of a survival game. For this, I envision another option: feeding and taming animals so they can be kept, whether as livestock such as chickens, cows, or deer, or even as pets like cats, dogs, or perhaps a parrot?
-
Power plants and industrial facilities: This is by far one of the more challenging proposals, but it could very well mark a significant milestone in the survival game industry. If there were a way to restart coal-fired power plants to restore electricity to areas on the map, allowing production companies to operate their facilities and manufacture items such as tin cans of food, medical supplies like bandages or painkillers, or military materials like ammunition and weapons, this could create a unique gaming experience that is unusual for survival content.
These are just a few ideas on a Sunday, and I thank you for reading and for your attention.
Edit: if someone is intresting to descripe the proposals above feel free to ask 😄
