Just did my "livekey" and really tryharded in a COT 12.
Looking for new improvements.

This Dawnbreaker we timed by 30 seconds. The tank said low dps and i dont know if i could have done more for the group. Uptimes seem fine. But maybe i miss sth

  • You're frequently casting Eruption, and occasionally empowers or Breath of Eons, when Ebon Might isn't up. Don't do this. Your Ebon Might uptime is already pretty high, but it would be even higher if you didn't waste extenders.
  • You're frequently casting Upheaval when Fire Breath isn't up, with Molten Embers talented. Don't do this either. (This only applies while running ME. Motes + Overlord is the stronger build anyway.)
  • You're often not casting Fire Breath at the max empower level, which you should do (unless Upheaval has more than 12 sec left on its CD and you're running Molten Embers).
  • You're frequently refreshing Bombardments on trash. Where possible, you should instead apply it to another target, assuming they will live long enough, to get more value out of Extended Battle.
  • You're occasionally letting Blistering Scales drop. This is fairly easy to avoid, outside of you or the tank dying.
  • Try and avoid picking up Motes of Possibility when both DPS already have Shifting Sands, as Sands will buff a tank/healer in this case. (Alternatively, tell your tank/healer to stay away from the gold balls, they're for DPS, not them!)
  • You're barely casting Time Spiral, basically wasting that talent point.
  • You're also not casting Rescue or Zephyr enough, and in the Siege of Boralus run, also Renewing Blaze.
  • You aren't casting Oppressing Roar at all. I'd recommend using it just before Breath of Eons, if you're fighting CCable mobs, to increase the duration of the AOE stun from Terror of the Skies.

Bombardements, i dont really understand. So after FB i want to cast Eruption on 2 different targets right?

Is it allowed to cast 2 eruption on target A and the 3rd on target B? Or does that make Bombardment go on the same target twice and not on the target B?

Ye oppressing Roar is sth i didnt get used to. I can just cast it "on cd" on trash packs right? And its on gcd right? Thats sth that scares me, since i alway think this will lead me to drop my EB 😄
