Hey I think i need someone to log-review
We are progressing Ovi'nax, and I have knockback on set 1 and set 2*(We are lacking a druid)*. I've specced into Temporal Burst with Chronowarden to have it back for set 2. That should still be no reason to perform so bad, so I just have to ask, can anyone tell me what I am doing horrible wrong? Because I do not seem to see it myself.

Think I see some improvements.

  • Cast more Eruption
  • Cast less Azure Strikes
  • Use pot
  • Use FB/Upheaval, Breath on CD

Ensure Blistering Scale is active...

the second set of adds technically doesnt need a knockback

if the boss is positioned properly, the mass grips can instantly get them already

unfortunately ovinax is a fairly bad aug fight - you have the somewhat clear tradeoff between:

  • overall damage/parsing well. you need to have upheaval on every add set and hold ebon mights for it etc. its cringe gameplay.
  • boss damage. this will tank your parse because only some of the upheavals will hit the adds, but the boss will die faster

that said, if you filter to boss damage only, youre currently also bottom

you have double aug, so why do you even need to knockback the second? you can just alternate?

wait both of you are knocking the first 2 sets, that doesnt even make sense

you should have 1 evoker knocking:

  • 1 + 3
  • 2 + 4 (if needed)

in general however, your performance is this low because your ebon might uptime is frankly very lacking

your most casted spell is chrono flames, not eruption

youre pressing 4 azure strikes per minute (it should be < 0.5)

this is the top chronowarden log for ovinax. obviously a benchmark very out of reach currently, but youll see some clear differences instantly:

Thanks, ill try to get more cpm. Is my haste low btw? Are there any breakpoints I should try and aim for?

but you shouldnt be chrono, basically
