Guild is at 11% M Sark prog and RL is like “it’s all downhill from here.” Maybe it’s the extreme anxiety or ADHD, but my brain is like “da ba dee da ba di” until Kaze TTS says my assignment… I know I’m not the next Widdel but how can I finish strong here?

We’re trying to raid an extra night tonight and then our usual Wed/Thurs for the push to world last. (I also downloaded OBS and will be recording future prog for self-reflection/learning material.)

Additional context: I suspect I “check out” after this many pulls in and my brain doesn’t re-engage until something new or interesting happens. Any advice on this is also appreciated!

Immediate notes without going deep on my commute:

• empowered spells should be cast way more often, like nearly on CD. You’re losing a ton of power that way. 5 spiritblooms in a 7.5min pull is especially egregious given you’re also running the reduced cd talent

-not sure your cd assignments after p1, but 2x DF, 1x EC, and 1x Rewind all seem low. DF/Rewind are probably scripted, but EC can be used in each phase, especially if tied to your cycles at :41

-enemy LF count is low, try casting between each blossom outside of :41 and 1:30 dumps where you just want cycles online asap.

I’d also recommend running the log through wowanalyzer (which is supported for pres) for more basic rotational stuff. Not great reception atm or I’d do it for you

Overall CPM is also super low, at 28, instead of like 40+, so you’ve definitely got dead time. Initial suspicion is probably downtime during travel mechanics

First, thank you for the timely review! I appreciate a second set of eyes. I looked up Wowanalyzer and it called out similar themes.

TLDR:
I need to revisit resources on Cycles of Life, be more mindful of my CPM and LF, and fix my UI for CD assignments and notifications.

Realizations:
Oh god... it looks like I missed my 2nd Rewind (assigned for 6:56). I didn't even hear the Kaze TTS go off. Embarrassing. My 3rd Dream Flight is assigned for the second "hide" AE for P3 and I missed that as well.

EC is assigned for the P3 soak following the first mass dispel. I keep forgetting to hit Hover and didn't want to die to the rocks. I need to set a reminder or maybe move a point into Dreamwalker.

Reflecting on CPM, I could be better at using Hover during p1 baiting. Sometimes I’m running for my life because our priest likes to bait ahead.

Enemy LF is usually higher. I saw someone else mention more Burst procs using TA and I think I went overboard there and/or struggled to swap back to the enemy.

Regarding empowered spells: I tend to forget SB when Tip the Scales is not ready. I need to watch streams because I'm looking at logs and unsure how to tell if people are casting full rank when Tip isn't available or just ranks 1-3. This also made me realize I don't plan Cycles that well because I'm not tracking it and I misunderstood how it worked. (I do try to be mindful about Cycles when getting a TA out because I want the Echos to be used for LB or LF, but that's about it.)

I still feel like I’m missing interactions or timings, because my p1 Breath clear HPS is awful. I’m usually trying to TD > TA > RB > LB > EC as soon as we finish bait and get to the soak spot. I need to watch more streams and look at more logs. >.<

Empowered spells are cast at full power for FB and SB, r1 for DB.

If you’re hovering during p1 baits don’t do it until the 2/3rd circle appears so you don’t accidentally bait in front of your ranged and make them mad

P1 breath clear is usually setting things up so when you’re running on the circles before :41, you’re pre dropping blossoms a bit and activating RB so you can fit VE -> DF -> EC into the actual breath while field/cycles are running

Tracking cycles is of mixed value, it’s good to know if you’ve got one up but field of dreams kind of ruins pre-planning for blossoms/tracking how many out of 3 to start the next. You’re better off planning on ensuring resources (essence + bursts) to be able to drop 3 blossoms and force a cycle, than you are tracking how many have already been dropped, if that makes sense. Track 4p if you aren’t though, knowing when 3 free bursts are coming is very useful.

Random tip since I’m not sure whether you are / aren’t -> after casting TA, living flame an ally to generate a ton of bursts.

I'll keep this in mind for timing! I've been stutter stepping or sticking with the group unless the priest with Nike's baits ahead. If he does screw us, I usually Rescue/VE/Hover my way to safety.

Good to know. I'm embarrassed to admit I was not tracking 4p, and I don't know why.

This is how I ended up shifting LF away from damage and more heavily into burst procs. I try to stay on the enemy when not using TA, but it looks like I got sloppy and need to be more mindful.

Gul giving you some good advise there, 1 thing you said i noticed thou "EC is assigned for the P3 soak" if you're playing blossom (which i assume you are since you mentioned cycle) EC isn't a cd that should be assigned

we're not lifebinding as blossom so you can't rely on it as a heal cd to handle a mechanic

you just feed it into cycle of life during dangerous moments

so if that moment where EC is assigned is a point where people are dying might need to look at assigning something else there

Yep, playing blossoms! I’ll bring this up to my heal lead. I’ve been frantically trying to slam blossoms then TA>RB>LB my EC.

Best of luck! Trying to CE in the final hour is it’s own treat. 🥲
