I'm attempting to create the Genshin 6.1 server from resources following Thoronium's instructions and the instructions within pmagixc's website. However, I do not have the 6.1 game files, as I never backed them up because I never expected a 6.1 server to be made at the time. I also checked the repository in the List of Common Issues thread, and 6.1 is not included in those files. Does anyone have the Genshin 6.1 game data for me to use for the server?

Hoyo no longer provides the game downloads through zip, that's why the repo there isn't updated. Hoyo now provides the game through sophon, so you have to use a sophon downloader to get it, such as https://github.com/GesthosNetwork/HK4E-Sophon-Downloader

I've never heard of this downloader. But if I can only obtain the files from the launcher, how will the downloader access archived 6.1 files? Is there a place to go to use the downloader on to retrieve the old files? (On that note, does that mean I would need the downloader to download the current 6.3 files, or am I still able to copy currently available files off the launcher?)

The downloader is doing the same thing the old archive does: it gives direct links to older versions hosted on Hoyo's servers still
the downloader itself is simply requesting the files from Hoyo, it's just via sophon instead of zip
For current versions, the official Hoyo launcher is doing the same thing - just that the official launcher only ever gets the latest version.
A sophon downloader like this can request the older game files in the same way you would by selecting an older version game zip via direct link.
