Which client? I've tried 5.0 and the terrain wasn't there with the map.

if they're asking for 4.8 protos then they can't be on a 4.8 server, so it's beta

which is suitable for 4.8beta,but my desire version is 4.8.0rel

I've been told that protos aren't different in betas (so 4.8.5 server protos should work with 4.8rel). But what patch are you using for your client?

you've been told wrong, the protos are different

also just a clarification but 4.7.50 is 4.8, 4.8.5 would be 5.0 beta

4.7.5x is the only one that would have the map location in beta clients
