Yes, because the one in the console shows the supported version, the one in the launch button shows what version game you actually have.
This is why you cannot play, as already outlined in the setup guide you must get the matching game version for your server.
To play on your 6.1 server you must download a 6.1 game client. You can use a sophon downloader to do so, such as https://github.com/GesthosNetwork/HK4E-Sophon-Downloader

That's to compile the program. You're not compiling the program, you're using the program (which has already been compiled) to download the game
If you wish to compile it yourself you can, but you've already used it to download the game so there wouldn't be much point. It's the same thing at the end of the day

since it looks like you opened the program directly inside of the zip instead of extracting it, you probably downloaded it to your temp folder.
you'll definitely want to move it out of the temp folder into somewhere else before using it, as the temp folder contents get deleted

yea i got into the temp folder but there isnt an exe or anything i found 3 folders that seem to have to do smth with the sophon downloader thoug, theres not much inside
i might just extract and redownload in another folder
but not tdy anymore
