Maybe you're blocking the ports, you should never see 404 with valid settings and using Cultivation's proxy

make sure 80, 443, 8888 are tcp accessible and 22102 udp
you can just make an inbound rule in windows firewall with advanced security

Ok so that means that there is no issue with the server being on localhost, just an issue with your connection to it

You should check your windows proxy settings to make sure it is set how Cultivation sets it, just to make sure there is not another proxy using different settings

Cultivation sets it to be http=127.0.0.1:8365;https=127.0.0.1:8365

You might also want to check and see if Cultivation is installed in a path that has any non-latin characters in the filepath. There could be issues with some settings if there are any special characters in the path for it.

If your settings were already set to that, it looks like you have something else on your PC that is handling proxy settings. You could just change the port there to 8365 but the other application that is proxying traffic won't work properly or might just change it back before you can connect.

You only need the proxy on to get into the game, once you're running around inside the game you can let anything else use the proxy

Go to your Grasscutter folder, open config.json, set useEncryption and useInRouting both to true then restart Grasscutter. Then your game will connect properly. You should still use Cultivation to launch the game so you get automatically patched. Just uncheck "use internal proxy" in settings first so it doesn't mess with Fiddler.

You would just leave Fiddler open the whole time you launch from Cultivation as well, as long as internal proxy is unchecked in settings

Alright all is good there too, not sure what to tell you except it's an issue with your connection to the server in some way. Usually an issue like this would happen due to improper or invalid settings, such as wrong game version, or wrong server address/port. Since that doesn't appear to be the case for you, it would mean there is something deeper going on with your network. You being able to reach the Grasscutter message from web browser, and getting 502 before means the proxy is at least working as it should for dispatch.

it just means your cached login is invalid, so relog is needed

Cultivation turns off the proxy when the game is closed, though it shouldn't happen when proxy is unchecked in settings. You just click on the yellow bar for Fiddler to take traffic again
