I would recommend redownloading the files and starting the server yourself
I think Cultivation messes with the patch settings and deploys the 4.0 files automatically (might be a version conflic)
and thats why your game is recognized as 4.0
Or you can try it per cultivation and just turn off the automatic patch feature

this is what you said in your first post
You downloaded 4.5 Grasscutter, set it, then downloaded 4.0 Grasscutter on top of it, thereby deleting 4.5.
Remember that the downloads inside Cultivation are for official grasscutter, meaning 4.0 only.
You deleted 4.5 by downloading 4.0 on top. You must go download 4.5 Grasscutter again.
This is not an issue with the game files, you don't need to do anything to them.

The setup guide steps for downloading in Cultivation are to get Grasscutter. When you download Grasscutter separately (ie. from #resources) then there is no reason to download again on top of it - because that's just replacing it. You're probably confused because of that?
If you were to just replace the identical downloading part (manually from #resources instead of from inside Cultivation) but otherwise followed the setup guide with your specific game version, it would also be all correct and working. Just as reference.
