i got a white screen after the gate

cultivation 1.2.0, gi 4.0.0
when i click the gate, i got a white screen (without shown uid).
i have cleared the database of grasscutter, re-downloaded the grasscutter all-in-one, and rebooted my computer, and nothing worked.
and (maybe) nothing shown in the server terminal.

If you are getting a white screen, then your Grasscutter version and game version do not match. They must be the same for you to be able to play. Please update Grasscutter.

Can you confirm your Grasscutter version + git hash, it's in the Grasscutter cmd when you start it

And i didn't got the "connent timeout" tip after waiting for a long time

Ok what you'll want to do for me first is confirm you have installed the proxy certificate. It asked when you opened Cultivation for the first time, but you can also use the button in settings.
Next, confirm ports 80, 443, 8888, are open on tcp and 22102 on udp (this is important since you aren't reaching game server from the sounds)

You can add those in windows defender firewall with advanced security under inbound rules

i'm not sure that if i need open these ports when i running the server on localhost

and actually i make a gi4.5 server and it can "open gate" normally

These ports are used by Grasscutter and have often been the issue for people running localhost in the past. Remember that this is just opening them to access, not port forwarding or making the server accessible publicly

If this is the case then you should make sure you haven't intentionally patched 4.0 incorrectly

4.5 and 4.0 use different patching methods, so if you do what you did to 4.5 on 4.0, even if you have the correct 4.0 rsa patch, there will be issues

i have opened ports and didn't work. btw, create a new account also didn't work

and i'm sure that i didn't patch 4.0 like 4.5

actually i didn't modify any files and just click the launch btn in cultivation. because i remember that cultivation could automatically patch the game (4.0)
