so like, i've been trying to find some good sandbox-type servers to play on, however popular servers like yuuki require points and that's pretty annoying, last time i've played on private servers they were mostly sandbox and the process of getting and finding a private server was way less complicated, so yeah, are there still any servers like that?

OH
oh*
damn
wait does localhost work even if i have a website launched from my ip rn?
localhost works when you set it up to work in your setup
you mean https?
yes
is your proxy using ssl?
i dunno how do i check that 😀
So what proxy are you using
Me too, since you never mentioned, didn't tag
you don't appear to be following the setup guide since you are indicating a custom environment
Well i usually play on public servers, i actually never knew you can localhost it
i only read the essential stuff for joining public servers
But you're here, in the discord server for the local server software
ok so what are you using to play on those public servers
Cultivation
Then it's very simple, I would suggest you follow the setup guide and then modify your config as necessary to work in your environment
you never use https for localhost through cultivation
Okay okay
one more question
what is the cause of error 502?
(network is busy please try again later)
There are two causes for this error:
- You have "Use HTTPS" checked in your local server
- Your device cannot reach the server.
Please uncheck "Use HTTPS" or make sure your device can reach the server.
and what do you have for address/port in cultivation
okay imma try
Okay so i've been scrolling trough lists of common issues
and came across this
i've got the same issue as the one in benj's ss
😎
Just so happens you scrolled right past the solution to see that message
omg
i need help again
:'D
so like im getting the 502 error right? i read other people's support tickets for that
There are two causes for this error:

- Your device cannot reach the server.
Please uncheck "Use HTTPS" or make sure your device can reach the server.
Provide proof of:
- Cultivation connection settings (address/port/https)
- Grasscutter running without error
Yep that'll do it
my running options
You cannot connect to 22102. Put the correct port to connect, in your case (and the default) that is 443
also there's not much point in typing 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost
yeah, just the default is already localhost, so normally you wouldn't change anything. Faster to just type localhost than to copy/paste or type out 127.0.0.1 anyways, for the future
