#Can I build genshin server for android and how?
51 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Yes, it is called Grasscutters and there's information on how to run Grasscutters on the Grasscutters github
As for the client, which is not part of the server, you have to find or patch your own apk. Then you simply proxy that (usually done as part of the patch on android) to your Grasscutter server and play
Can I have its link please?
You're in the discord for it right now, so you could just look at #about
But here you go: https://github.com/Grasscutters/Grasscutter
If you want to host the server on android, you need to use termux and a manual setup (though you could still just download and extract the aio, also extracting resources and changing config to use folder).
If you just want to play on android then use the normal GC setup to start the server on a PC and find/make a patched 4.0 apk to connect with
where can i find an editable app i mean genshin 4.0
No idea, there are no publicly available custom address apks that I know of.
Which is why I said you have to find or make your own
oh thank you
No problem

I'm currently downloading the 4.0 Android files, which takes an eternity but I'll let you know if it works
thank you
It does work, or at least it did when I last ran it a few weeks ago. The only issue I had was the fact the app is in Chinese. You can work out more-or-less where everything is though.
Didn't work for me. Server was running, I created an account but couldn't establish a connection to the Grasscutter server from within the game
(Yes, proxy was on 127.0.0.1:8080)
Did you have both the server and the proxy running simultaneously? In separate terminals.
Yeah, I just noticed. I didn't have the proxy running haha
File checking is stuck at 45.00%
I put them in Android\obb\com.yuuki.gi40n\files like here:
@patent zinc Any idea on what I can do?
What is the issue?
Genshin doesn't detect the files I put in the data folder
Yuuki supports in game download
Why you need to do it yourself
Oh, I didn't know that
So I could just connect to Grasscutter, launch the game and let it download the 4.0 files?
No
In the tutorial
It says to load into the yuuki server at least once to download all the resources
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I thought that was for when you wanted to use the Yuuki servers
When you want to play on yuuki you just not use the proxy lol
Alright, thanks for the help!
I'll try that in the coming days
Ur welcome
Now I would just need to transfer my PC Grasscutter data to Android (if at all possible)
If not, that's no problem either but keeping my save would be nice, of course
Do u know how to use the Linux terminal
What you need to do
Is enable the storage permission in settings for nix on droid
Copy the data file to your device on a folder like downloads
Then on the terminal delete the /data directory on the server directory
And copy the new data file from
/storage/emulated/0
I think the data on PC is saved here (in the MongoDB database)
No
This is the app
To view the database
It's in the directory where you launch the jar from
I think I found it
I'm not seeing the relation this message has to this thread? Installing GC and playing on Yuuki are two separate things, unless you're referring to the client specifically that way. I'd suggest you make your own post and include specifics if you need specific help though
