Unchecking the setting is wrong.

You were linked to the post which includes the full setup guide and the info that 4.0 is required. Please follow the guide as already provided to get started.

It's also right at the top of the setup guide on the github, for reference.

You said you followed the guide, if you did then where is your 4.0 game? If you have the 4.0 game then you need to be using it.

You can use it by setting the 4.0 game executable at the top of Cultivation settings.

Yes, so that is exactly what I keep saying. You need the 4.0 game client to play the game on 4.0 which is what private requires

The 4.0 game is the full game at version 4.0, and is 56gb

Then you played when GC was on the same version as official. It isn't anymore.

When GC and official are the same version of course you don't download anything because you already have the full game. But now the versions are not the same, official is 4.3 and private is 4.0.

You haven't patched your game correctly or your client version is mismatching with the server's version. Please enable "Automatically Patch RSA" in your Cultivation settings, or downgrade/upgrade your game/Grasscutter

Hello, out of curiousity, what the reason for the lag on game version. During patch 3.X, cultivation was staying up to date with game patch pretty quickly.
Is it the addition of fontaine, or different coding to patch 4.X?
