If you are getting a white screen, then your Grasscutter version and game version do not match. They must be the same for you to be able to play. Please update Grasscutter.
also i tried searching but im honestly confused.
You need to provide some more specific information
i already changed my coords.
You had an error in the cmd which made you do this?
rebuilding stuff
As in, the jar?
Nope, specifically: Rebuilding stuff: Teapot
and as for the coords, i changed them due to the white screen of death.
Ok but changing coords is for a specific error, not just because the screen is white
Same goes for any other error that causes loading into the game to fail, which is why console logs are important
this is the console
Right on, can you go ahead and provide the full error as a message instead of a screenshot
as well as another other errors around it
how?
I can tell you that for you the screen being white you are having has nothing to do with position or coordinates, you can see there that you have an out of bounds exception which is causing the account to fail to load.
I keep on literally making new accounts, rebuilding stuff and etc
You didn't happen to notice that the same issue is occurring specifically every time you do the same thing? Fairly important thing to note. From the looks, you are adding animals to your teapot which are causing an out of bounds exception on loading.
This means that you would encounter this error every time you add an animal to your teapot, but not anytime before that.
oh, but if im able to go back, do i remove the animals? or will it not work
You can easily go back of course
By removing the animal, then you can go back. Not the other way around
Use mongodb and remove the offending animal from your home, then save and log back in
The same thing can be done to recover every single account with this same issue
Then I can go look at fixing this so you can add the animals back again
Much better
ok, im at mongodb, how do i singlehandedly eradicate every single animal from my teapots❤️
Try this instead, will be quicker
Stop your current Grasscutter cmd, just close it
Go to %appdata%\cultivation\grasscutter and drop this jar in there. Say yes to overwrite
Once it is overwritten, start Grasscutter again and try to login
will this be a permanent fix?
You're about to tell me
mongodb would have been temporary (as long as you didn't add new animals it would be perm though)
If you log in then yep, if not then you're off to edit mongodb until I fix it
alright i overwritten it, now can i open culti?
Cultivation is just the launcher, it never needed to be closed
So yes
Only Grasscutter needed to be closed, so that you could overwrite the jar
in a side note, currently my gc is on D:/ drive, will this still work or do i apply it to that as well?
The jar must be placed where you are running Grasscutter from.
I assumed you followed the setup guide and had downloaded the AIO through Cultivation, which places it by default in %appdata%\cultivation\grasscutter
ok, i overwritten the one in d:/ and ill see if it works
You should really just confirm where you're actually running Grasscutter from, and then replace the jar there instead of seemingly guessing
You can see where that is by looking in your Cultivation settings at the "Set Grasscutter JAR" spot - it will have your current jar set there
Unless you're running the server manually via command line or start.cmd of course
Been a while and no "it doesn't work!" so I'm going to take it that means it worked
yep it worked
and now, i will refrain from adding animals, instead i will assassinate i will love them🥰
Now you add animals however much you want, since they don't explode anymore
