character select stuck

on first launch (with new account) I can't select character, then I have spinner and mesasge box with error like "timeout exceeded"
then I trying again and get white screen.

version of game is 4.0.0 (also tried on 4.0.1), downloaded from MAnggiarMustofa/GI-Download-Library repo
cultivation v.1.2.0
make all steps by cultivation and gc repo readme.
tried deleting database in mongodb, creating new accounts (from game and console prompt), change coordinates in database.
haven't any proxy, fiddler, "use https" is disabled, encryption also. wtf?

If you are getting a white screen, then your Grasscutter version and game version do not match. They must be the same for you to be able to play. Please update Grasscutter.

it might be your connection/pc's issue, so being able to connect to a server normally indicates that the problem could be in your gc configuration if you changed it

maybe its not connecting to the gameserver properly?

try selecting a twin

if it is downloading resources its not connection issues

i would recommend you stop downloading these resources

since they're like 26 gigs

dont select a twin in yuuki, just dont download those since they take a lot of space

@swift phoenix You play in localhost right? I've been same a similar case. In my case, it happens because there is a duplicate database. Try deleting all grasscutter databases in mongodb. Then, close mongodb via Task Manager. Next, open Cultivation again and run the game.

okay, I installed 1.2.3, but.. problem is not solved. I deleted table gc in mongo, make full reinstall gc, check all options in settings.

You don't need to reinstall GC as long as you already have the all in one

Ok can you first make sure Grasscutter is closed. Then drop the Grasscutter database in compass. Then uninstall MongoDB 7.0.3 and go install MongoDB 6.0.12 https://fastdl.mongodb.org/windows/mongodb-windows-x86_64-6.0.12-signed.msi

Then after it is installed, start Grasscutter again, make a new account, and try to play

Someone else also had issues with Mongo 7, not sure why but they changed something. v6 hasn't had this issue ever before

I just tested it, and it worked. Try this:
/setconst <value> all

Example:
/setconst 0 all
then all characters get the constellation 0
You have to relog to see the results!
