You know when click on cultivation. There should be a funny looking button near the launch button. Press that and it launches a black window
And you need type something like "account create [username] [random uid]" the uid can be like 1234
And you should be able to play. You have to open that black window every time you want to login though.

Assuming you've now installed Mongo, you'll need to start the service. You can either enable the option in Culti that does that for you, or do it manually

Mkay, you can either just restart your PC (should automatically start next time it boots) or you can open "services.msc" (search "services" in Windows search), find "mongod", right click and enable/start it

I assume you downloaded through the archive, they have reuploaded links instead of the direct links from mhy which may be more prone to issues, considering someone else recently had the same one. My first suggestion is to delete your 3.7 game folder and then re-extract the 3.7 zip. If you already deleted the zip, then redownload the game through the official mhy link instead and then extract

To play 3.7 you must have a full 3.7 client

This should help you learn to read the update names
As you can see by what they have, you can only use the update file for the specfied versions. In the screenshot above it shows where it says 3.6 -> 3.7, which means it can only be used to update a 3.6 client to 3.7
If you use it on another version all you'll do is break the game

If you download that and put it in a separate folder and DO NOT overwrite an existing install, yes it will work
If you put it on your existing game and "replace" you will break the game further and still not be able to play

Just follow the instructions provided on the github and/or in #1025543438604710018 for the next steps once you have it downloaded and extracted
Sounds like you're already aware since you launched the game before, so just do the same thing but with the newly downloaded client
If you put the update files over your 3.8 game install and want to continue playing on official you'll need to repair in the official launcher, just as a heads up
