nvm I fixed the system error (it was bcs encryption)
but now this happeneds after I enter username and password:
Connection denied for XXX.X.X.X due to outdated server!

System error has four causes:

Grasscutter is not running (either you didn't start it or an error caused it to stop running)
Encryption is enabled (you must disable it in Cultivation settings)
Wrong port/address (if you're connecting to a local server, the correct port and address is localhost and 443)
4.You have "use HTTPS" checked on the Cultivation home screen.
Please make sure to check these possibilites.

"Normally" doesn't really apply as much here since protos for 3.8 are being gatekept. So it'll be either until someone who wants to share them publicly dumps, or the protos are released publicly instead of gatekept.
Whichever the case is, it can be anywhere from today to never. If you want it now, the best method is to do it yourself

If you are getting a white screen, then your Grasscutter version and game version do not match. They must be the same for you to be able to play. Please update Grasscutter.

Means you haven't set up Grasscutter correctly, which is more likely why you have a white screen

Since you're using Cultivation, and you are struggling to set up Grassuctter correctly, use the downloads menu and get the all in one

#

It's a single click to have a fully set up Grasscutter, as simple as it gets. Make sure to close your current Grassuctter cmd first

It's because the setting is to start quests automatically on creating the account, so an account that already exists doesn't have anything to do as it isn't going through the beginning cutscene

#

You can of course still start quests manually regardless, but you can expect other issues in doing so
