this is the server from spike hd video but the video is old so maybe that server doest work anymore because i tried again using the same port from the video (wich is the number over launch rigth) and nothing changed also i removed incription

Java 17 is required to run Grasscutter

Since you don't have java, I'm going to assume you also don't have MongoDB, which is required to run Grasscutter

You're trying to use the java installer to run Grasscutter, which is impossible

You need to run the installer to actual install java, then use the installed java to run Grasscutter

After it is installed, java.exe will be in C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-17\bin\ which you can set as custom java path in Cultivation, or you can remove custom java path setting and let your pc use default java home

Since it appears you don't have any other versions of java installed, you should be fine either way

If it has errored out and exited, you will get this error

I don't see the cmd on your hotbar, it likely has errored out in the background

open task manager, look for java tm platform se binary under background processes and end it

click ok to the popups in cultivation, then start grasscutter again

I should also let it be known that you can still just connect to something like Yuukis server, no need to make your own

true connecting to yuuki is a lot easier than running your own if you keep having issues, or don't care whether it's local or not
