You haven't patched your game correctly. Check #1025543438604710018 message for more information.
that's precisely why I added a screenshot, in order to make sure someone can check if it is correct
Make sure you're using specifically version 1.3.0 of the RSA patch, and if it isn't working as version.dll then remove your mhypbase.dll and rename the patch to mhypbase.dll instead
yeah i was definitely using 130

lol there isnt even a myhypbase.dll in the folder (aside from the bak, maybe AGL took care of that)
@hidden violet white screen
If you are getting a white screen, then your Grasscutter version and game version do not match. Please check #1025543438604710018 message for more information.
make sure to keep support issues in support
okay I thought that was outdated as that post is from January and the last release was a few weeks ago
but dammit guess I have to DL a metric fuckton of data AGAIN
you just have to have the matching game and grasscutter version
if you have an older game then use an older grasscutter
also the info there applies to every version over 3.2 (or between any versions that have changed protos)
as I literally only played genshin since less than a week ago I doubt I have an older version
then you're using an outdated grasscutter, you'll need gc for 3.6
you can either get the full build from #resources or build from the dev-3.6 branch
wait didnt you just link me to a post saying grasscutter cannot do 36
but not on the git releases page yet I guess lol
never check release for latest (unless there is an announcement for that version, like 3.5 got)
releases are stable, and very often out of date
I see
development is latest, and can be grabbed from actions or built from source if you prefer
in this case, for 3.6 the branch is dev-3.6
does one need all of the contents or can I just drop in the jar over the already setup instance?
You can just use the jar. If your resources folder is also outdated then the content you can access will be restricted to that version, as a note
I DL'd this
https://gitlab.com/YuukiPS/GC-Resources/-/tree/3.6/Resources so should be up to date
That is, yes
You're good to go now, getting to the cutscene is success
neat
also as wine has its own proxy settings I likely dont even need to change the linux proxy. DOUBLE NEAT
one thing I am always not sure about is how much one topic should extend and that for every small thing opening a new topic seems dumb lol
if it's a support issue it goes in support, no matter how big or how small
the 'forums' style definitely turns people off of making new posts but if you feel it's related enough to your current 'chain' of help then just continue your existing thread - as long as it doesn't get too off-topic of the original issue/topic
especially for small issues a normal chat-style support would be neat
stuff can be turned into threads anyway
yeah that's how old and older support, and cultivation support, were, but when forums released support got converted to make it easier for issues to be searchable and such
much easier to find answers to problems when there's posts for it instead of reading disjointed convos all mixed together
I know I'll sound totally dumb but who's tukan, I havent seen any tukan in here?
