You're conflating a bunch of different things, and no

Cultivation is a launcher, it doesn't need any patch or update or anything of the sort

Your game client uses a patch to play on private servers, that is a separate thing and is not an update

The actual message you were getting in Cultivation was about metadata patching, right? Automatic metadata patching is only for 2.8/3.0, that's what the message is telling you, your game is not the right version for that patching method

If you launch the 'regular' game into 3.5, then you have two separate game installs

While I don't remember the exact words I can take a pretty good guess as to what was said
Something along the lines of "patching is easy but if you don't want to move files then you can make a 2nd copy of the game just for private, it will take up double space"

Go to Cultivation settings and select your 3.5 game exe in the game install path instead of the 3.3 one you have set

I'd strongly suggest updating your Cultivation to my thorny edition here too so that it auto patches for you

Since regular Cultivation auto patching stopped working after 3.0, that's why you had a 2nd copy of the game in the first place. If the autopatching was working you would have only had one game, so updating to this version of Cultivation will mean you can just stick to one game install

Usually the GM Handbook in your Grasscutter folder, but as you are on Yuuki the commands are slightly different. You can still reference the GM Handbook here:

just make sure to read chat when you send commands since some will tell you that you need to do different things

ex. /give all will not actually give everything, but if you read the chat message it sends it will tell you what to do to get everything

though iirc on yuuki /give basic should raise your AR to a level where you have all the basic functions unlocked

I'd suggest reading /help or the GM Handbook

/help will have all the current Yuuki commands in it, GM Handbook has all the Grasscutter commands which only some of are slightly different for Yuuki

Sure thing, and I have confirmed personally that /help does indeed work the same as it has and lists all the available commands. talent and setconst were both included of course (and are listed in the gm handbook as they are normal gc commands)

that's why it's good to use the search function to find what you are looking for in the handbook, since it will take you directly to the thing
