You can get the webview2 installer here (direct download): https://msedge.sf.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com/filestreamingservice/files/d602b474-c305-455f-86f3-49b09505ab2a/MicrosoftEdgeWebView2RuntimeInstallerX64.exe
or go to the webview2 page and download it https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/
I'm also having the same issue, im on win10 and i tried to install webview2 but the installer says it's already installed
Do you actually have webview installed though? Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\EdgeWebView\Application\
The folder isn't there, you don't have webview installed. The installer is wrong
Open regedit and go to
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate\Clients\{F3017226-FE2A-4295-8BDF-00C3A9A7E4C5}
This key is telling windows that you have webview installed when you don't, so delete it and then run the installer again
you can just copy paste this into the regedit address bar, or if you want you can navigate manually
Sure thing
@sand dune I have a friend with the same problem, he installed his windows again and after that he can't open cultivation anymore, even tho webview2 is installed
he is also using windows 10
he tried the .zip and .msi
both don't open
he was using cultivation just fine before installing windows again
maybe some driver is missing or something?
what is the issue
Only thing that prevents cultivation from opening is webview2, don't believe there's anything else that completely stops it from opening
