Older versions were put together a bit differently since resources weren't all in one download, make sure to read the readme / wiki from the version you are trying to get

#

Also note the earliest versions are around 2.2-2.4 but not every download is archived so it may not be possible to put an early version together correctly, though a lot of the early data was cross-version compatible

Or if you're dedicated enough you might be able to find old downloads from this discord, though I wouldn't hope for too much

I suppose they technically should be, but I wouldn't suggest it as if there are any differences then you'll run into problems there

Yes you just match the resources to what you need to run

You can use Cultivation (it will run any version you want it's just a launcher). You will need the version-specific patch if the game version is 2.8 or later

yeah you can get other versions but you'll have to check around on the dates and links from waybackmachine, not all are available
