#Where is the Grasscutter 3.3 resources?
21 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Same place as 3.2/3.1/all earlier version resources: https://gitlab.com/yukiz/GrasscutterResources/-/tree/3.3
or the ones provided in #1025543438604710018
https://git.crepe.moe/grasscutters/Grasscutter_Resources
Are these resources exclusive to the Yuuki Server?
So if I download these and use them, I can play on 3.3? Or do I still need to wait for cherrymint to update?
Resources are just resources, you need to wait for grasscutter to update - also resources are for local only. As mentioned above, your resources have no impact on public servers. After grasscutter updates you will either need to wait for cherrymint to use the update or run a local server with updated grasscutter
To make it a bit more clear:
Grasscutter is the server
Resources are files extracted from the client that are used by the server (grasscutter) and have no impact on grasscutter version/compatibility
Resources just determine what is available game-wise, such as characters, map areas, weapons, etc
You're still limited by what the game client you are using is versioned at, so you wouldn't be able to play on a 2.8 client with 3.3 res and have 3.3 stuff; you would only have 2.8 stuff
Equally you can use 3.0 resources on a 3.3 client and you'd only have 3.0 stuff available, even though your client has them
Ok, so regardless of whether I have 3.3 resources I have to wait for grasscutter and my server to update.
Also can I go back a version?
Like replace my resources with 1.0?
If you're on a public server all you do is wait for the server to update
If you're playing on a local server you will have to wait for grasscutter to update and then use that to update your local server
You can go back to any version you want(barring any prior to ~2.4), as long as you have the relevant client(and patch if applicable) and grasscutter version
Oh, ok. I don’t think I wanna mess my current setup right now jsut to go back to 1.0. But thanks regardless.
Grasscutter does not exist for 1.0, so you'd have to make it yourself if you wanted that unfortunately
