I have no clue what happened but after loading Genshin thru Cultivation, it gave me an error about my internet. I go and check my browser and it says im offline. My wifi looks to be fine tho, so idk what happened.

Your internet isn't really disconnected/off, you just have not trusted the traffic and so it is being blocked by sites/applications

As a note, closing the game correctly from the menus will make the proxy turn off correctly so you won't run into that issue

#

Closing out 'incorrectly' (x button, alt+f4, etc) will leave it on and you'll have to turn it off manually

side note, I have Akebi and Migoto running and when I press launch it opens on an official genshin server (id get a captcha when logging in, on a private i wouldnt get the captcha)

When Akebi launched for the first time, it needed me to manually set the directory for genshin, so I set it. Was I not supposed to do that or sumn?

You are supposed to do that, but if your akebi path and cultivation game path in settings are different you'll likely have that issue

Just check your cultivation game path in settings and make sure it is the same as the one in the akebi config (in your akebi folder)

Yeah just double check to make sure they match, and that you are clicking launch from the menu you screenshotted above and not running the akebi injector manually

Looks like the proxy is still on but not root trusted so the connections are blocked

That is just for the cultivation background but it would affect the mods downloading as well

Cultivation has likely messed up the path, go to your 3dmigoto folder and edit d3dx.ini so target = GenshinImpact.exe

As I mentioned to you before, you need to use a different proxy as cultivation proxy won't work for you if it isn't turning on automatically

i made it work somehow using cloudflare with use a proxy server it worked and i was able to get in and play after i closed the game when i tried again it didn't work

it keeps connecting me to the offical one now

Yeah that says the background couldn't be retrieved from the webserver, it's a non-issue. If your proxy was root trusted you wouldn't get that problem

tbh i don't know if my proxy is even running or not first time it worked i restarted my laptop then check use proxy and used cloudflare and it worked now it doesn't really strange things r happenning

Yeah doing verify in the game files will un-patch you since it returns all the original files back, if you do repair it again just make sure to patch again after and you should be good to go
