You'll need to provide relevant information: the error, screenshot of grasscutter console, how you are connecting
I connected through cult
It would just keep giving me connection erros
errors*
Grass cutter isnt even working anymore
Ok you still need to provide the relevant information requested above
You should also be using the guide for Cultivation
Whats a "jenshin" never heard of it
Download Cultivation! - https://github.com/Grasscutters/Cultivation

he does not tell where your supposed to go for getting a grasscutter jar file
Yes he does
It's included in the download in the downloads menu, the 2nd button from the top on the dl menu
Yep that's all you need
You follow the video, open Cultivation and download from the menu inside the app
You didn't install Cultivation, so do that first. You download the .msi and run it
Rather than using the zip
Now I have this
Where do I get the correct grassclipper file
You don't use grassclipper
You download grasscutter from the downloads menu, as shown in the video
Both of these?
No, you just download latest grasscutter (2nd button from the top)
Then resources, the bottom button (for 3.0)
If you're already on 3.1 you have to get manually https://github.com/tamilpp25/Grasscutter_Resources
this good?
do I download resources as a zip?
or is that a no no
Im gonna have to go soon
not rn tho
also where do I find the grasscutter after it was installed from this?
@signal barn You there bro?
It gets placed in %appdata%\cultivation\grasscutter
You download the resources as a zip, you can just place it into grasscutter folder named as resources.zip it doesn't need to be extracted anymore
I haven't tried it with the zip yet so if you get an error you may need to rename/move it
The resources should be in a zip called "resources.zip" in your grasscutter folder, and inside of it should be the folders for the resources. If it isn't working just extract the resource files (BinOutput, ExcelBinOutput, etc) to grascutter\resources folder
Ok just extract it
You did not extract the resources properly or did not wait for them to finish
It takes a while, wait for it to complete
its already done
Then you did not extract to the right place, as said here you need to have the resource folders in grasscutter\resources
So it goes \grasscutter\resources\BinOutput (and 5 other folders)
BinOutput doesnt exist for me
You have it two folders deeper than it is supposed to be
thats the order its in for me rn
grasscutter\resources\BinOutput (and those other 5 folders + 1 file)
move them as such
It is good to go
You could, but considering your experience it would be much better to connect to an existing server to do so, such as eu.genshin.ps.yuuki.me
Then you and your friends could add each other via uid and coop
Alright
Thanks
Ima head out
Thanks for all of this
I mean it
I'll pay you back
No problem
Connection issues
So uh
when I try to use the server
it says on genshin "System error. Try again later"
@signal barn
If you're trying to play on an external server, you need to check 'use https' next to launch. If you're playing on a local server with Cultivation you need to disable encryption and uncheck 'use https'
Someone on a modding server helped me out
