any time i even try to join my private server it just gives me an error. And when i changed the grasscutter versions the server didnt even launch

It gets placed in %appdata%\cultivation\grasscutter

You download the resources as a zip, you can just place it into grasscutter folder named as resources.zip it doesn't need to be extracted anymore

I haven't tried it with the zip yet so if you get an error you may need to rename/move it

The resources should be in a zip called "resources.zip" in your grasscutter folder, and inside of it should be the folders for the resources. If it isn't working just extract the resource files (BinOutput, ExcelBinOutput, etc) to grascutter\resources folder
