# green holly Hello <@568147598339211274> ! Nice to meet you here What skills are needed for...

Hello @green holly 🙂
If we are talking about presales position in general i would highlight the following:

  1. Good understanding of your market. For example: in cyberecurity it could be EDR\ xDR, SIEM, Network Security, IAM, Services (and so on). Know trends on the market and competitors landscape
  2. Technical skills sufficient to be an expert with product line you have in your Company
  3. Soft skills for successful collaboration with different people inside and outside of your Organisation
it is a base. Later you learn additional skills that help you to move forward

For me right now most difficult part of the job is aligning regional teams with global strategy and manage stakeholders expectations 🙂 I think it is the same for most of the manager roles

Hello and thank you for providing this opportunity. Given the current geopolitical issues, how does this impact your company? I read some great threat research from your members. Also, what regional markets would you desire to expand to (S. America, Europe, etc.)? Again, thanks!

# gusty flicker Hello. What is included in the presale preparation of a product such as Antiviru...

Hello. First of all i would like to highlight that we are not focusing Antivirus products since current market is more interested in holistic protection suites with Detection and Response capabilities powered by AI and our Security Analysts. To prepare our team to work with such products we provide sets of training including:

  1. Technical onboarding sessions
  2. Deep dive training exercise with real life scenarios to provide better understanding of day to day operations of people who will use our products
  3. Trainings from Treat Research team to provide insights on threat landscapes and popular TTPs nowdays

Of course just training is not enough, so we provide necessary documentations, tools, demo stands and other
It is a long but interesting journey 🙂

# gusty flicker And how does your team interact with other teams (development, support, etc.)?

We have good collaboration between different function in our Company. One of my main goals at the beginning was to set "rules of play" between our teams. How and when we can engage RnD on presales stages, what we can expect from customer support. What kind of information do we need to provide to them to make their job easier...
In general RnD usually interested in user scenarios (how End User interact with product and what could be improved), Customer Support is looking for more information about End User, documentation from Proof of Concept and everything that can help them to resolve incidents faster.

Hello 🙂
Question is not specifically related to my line of work, but i will try to answer.
In the current situation, business development in some markets has become challenging due to certain regulators’ actions. It is true. Nevertheless, Kaspersky’s business operations remain stable. The company’s global management team is monitoring the situation carefully and our focus will remain on those markets where we see the most potential for our business development.
By the way thanks for thanks for appreciation of our experts’ research work. Team still providing insightful Researches to Global Cybersecurity community despite all obstacles.

I downloaded a new Windows, and before I do that, I took the serial for Casper, and when I reuse it, it refuses, even though it has 150 days left. Please help. If you want to send the serial to make sure, I don't mind.
