From what I've seen, the dot issues are only on bosses
when there are adds in the fights, the suggestions for plague strike & plague leech are working

yeah, in the current state its just checking that the dot is applied
You can go rn to a dummy that is being hit by someone else (with dots) and get the spellId of any of their dots and throw a /dump NAG:DotIsActive(their Spell Id) in the chat and thats gonna return true even tho you dont even have that spell to begin with

ive had some issues that werent fixed in versions in the past that were said to be fixed and doing a reset usually fixed it

Think most of issues were the stacking issues for buffs, also consolidated lot of the DotIsActiveGlobal etc and the Debuff* checks into the single versions via config override system in the aurahandler
... but it of course shouldn't be breaking the existing stuff too
the reg stuff seems fine. but stacking untested cause dummies were empty lol
ya. the 41 was just cleanup stuff. nothing else. and added some more buffs to the global list that we weren't using but for completion

The NAG started as a weakaura but that’s been defunct for a while it’s just the addon which provides u all the UI that the weakaura did plus a lot more 🙂

You should just have ghoul up always we never added a check for whether ghoul was up or not. Isn’t a bad idea to add in though is kind of an out of combat thing or whatever but ya it can obvs die in combat too
Generally ur opener will be Gerald into PS so you can outbreak with all ur snaps and thus keep spending ur runes on higher dmging abilities while u have ur procs up, is why its like that

what to use?
Use DnD on CD basically, as long as the enemy is in it for 8 seconds or longer it’s more dmg than SS
So if u get the entire spells uptime basically, and then obvs cut that time needed in half if 2 targets etc etc
Now if it were something like Sha P2 and adds were about to spawn u might hold ur DnD for a few seconds but its a very short CD of 30s so generally sending it whenever its up is better

I see NAG suggesting PL even though the current snapshop is quite good...are we not f* up that snapshot by casting PL into PS?
of course we are getting more runes so I assume is worth to loose that snapshot in order to get more runes and spend them into other abilities that do more damage compared to the damage we are sacrificing by refreshing a stronger snapshot?
No you would PL before resnapping basically
it should be suggesting that when you have procs rolling so you're going to resnap
so basically you're spending an extra global to get 2 runes instead of just resnapping at that moment
I didn't see it erroneously suggesting PL when I had worked on it so it should be good

Are you saying you're having PL show when your snapshotting WA shows negative numbers and there's a lot of time left on your diseases, and no trinket procs are up?

if it's 3s then that's why it's suggesting PL cuz ur diseases are about to run out

@solemn halo hello sir. Im testing the oblit build and im noticing the following pattern: PL-->HB-->PS which is okay but its even the same when KM is up. Its RNG of course but if KM is up at the moment u press PL, NAG is strictly suggesting HB into PS and then, oblit to consume the KM proc. Wouldnt that be more optimal to prio oblit in all the circumstances when KM is up? for instance, if KM is up after PL, why not consuming the KM proc on oblit and then PS since PS dps is kinda residual?
in that scenario, we are using 2 globals until we press oblit with KM so we are potentially loosing chances to get another KM during that period?
same thing for masterfrost

I played frost DK back in wrath, had alot of fun. This time around in MoP, to min/max masterfrost feels like fatigue. All I am doing is staring at my ability bar, rotation feels so clunky, and even though I am doing well in DPS, just not having the most fun. Is it common to feel like this at all? What can be done? Sorta wish we were back in wrath with just focusing on obliterates..

uses the GroupRef and Variables stuff wowsims implemented recently.
I added support while back, allows cleaning up the rotations things are calculated less often by using reusable groups/variables etc @limber topaz

The only fight I test it was on 1st TOES boss, Protectors. Solo tanking. After that I just turned it off…
The BDK APL compares your current attack power (AP) against a live weapon-damage snapshot before ever spending RP on Death Coil. Specifically, it only flips from Rune Strike when both conditions are true:
- You’re holding at least 40 Runic Power.
- Your AP satisfies
AP ≥ 6.268 × weaponDamage − 4,476.92.
Only then doesDeath Coil (47541)fire; otherwise it defaults back toRune Strike (56815), which is always ready at 30 RP and has no AP gate.
With your weapon (14,525–21,788 damage), the breakpoints work out to:
- Low swing (14,525):
AP ≥ 6.268 × 14,525 − 4,476.92 ≈ 86,600 - Average swing (~18,156):
AP ≥ 6.268 × 18,156 − 4,476.92 ≈ 109,000 - High swing (21,788):

You would have to be north of 100k+ Vengeance to see it request Death Coil over Rune Strike. Which is possible on this fight solo tanking. I dont know if you are 10 or 25 man raiding. In 10m raiding its usually ~40 sec into the fight when i get this much AP to send DeathCoils. I send alot of Death Coils in this fight.

You can paste that in a macro, or in /say - it will print out how much AP you need for NAG to suggest Dcoin over Runestrike
Was on 25m Protectors solo tanking. High veng encounter.
Working as intended then.
Death Siphon or Death Strike is also calculated with another formula that goes off AP thresholds.
Around 120k+ AP for DCoil threshold, not that high tbh. Ill just follow the NAG suggestions and check results

Our 10m is on 8 heroic Sha of Fear kills, Me and my Arms Warrior has used a Reroll token each week. We have only seen 1 Shinka drop from the boss and neither one of us hav rolled one. So thats 24 chances at the weapon. 
Is there a "recommended" second profession for DKs outside of engineering, or is it just whatever? Blacksmithing maybe? I've got a lot of stuff covered on my alts, and I don't really need a gathering prof.

So, I finally have a somewhat respectable blood tank set, its mostly cele + some others. I am overwhelmed with how to gem and enchant and reforge between offensive, defensive, and balanced. Is there a general recommendation on which route to go based on current gear, or is it based on the players playstyle, or something else? Would say, offensive be better with all 517, and maybe defensive better at 483, etc.? I have no idea how to approach this lol
Here is what I'm rocking right now if it helps. It's a mess, I know:
I would strongly suggest just following the wowhead guide written by riyani, go balanced. If youre unsure, its for sure your best option.
Starting out as a BDK with Celestial? Id play it safe and go Balanced and reforge for Parry>Haste, and match up the gems for a stat+stam. So Haste+stam, Parry+stam. This will give you more of a HP cushion to soak big hits while learning the class and the haste brings faster rune regen for deathstrikes to heal back up + blood shields. Since we are going into Throne soon ill be switching most my offensive gems/reforge to balanced as well for heroic progression.
thanks for the advice. for about 20 years I've been playing rDPS. mDPS is a whole new world to me. This DK is my first. I solo leveled as blood, and then switched to unholy while doing celes with the purpose of getting a full cele set for blood to switch back to. I'd love to do more tanking...but I don't have a lot of confidence in my ability to do that for groups, lol. Melee as a whole feels very uncomfortable to me.

Hey guys, ye I’ll be implementing new Normalsauce rotation with better AoE and an actual Festerblight rotation (which should only be used with Feather AND Shado-Pan trinket, but the APL itself will work once u get Feather if u just want to FB, it’s about even with Normalsauce then) hopefully this week, so yall can test on next PTR if u use new trinkets

The only current applicable use for Festerblight is if you get the 60% damage increase buff after returning from one of the platforms on Sha of Fear. Outside of that, you wouldn’t ever do it until you get your hands on Feather.

Are they maintaining their original snapshot the entire fight? Or are they only resnapping their diseases one other time in the fight with all procs, CDs, and potion? If not, they’re just incorrectly prioritizing FS.
A single resnap on a 4 min fight for example, with trinkets and second pot

Since the way you would approach it is entirely dependent on the number of stacks of strength you have from feather on pull.

Using the latest release of NAG with default Masterfrog ST rotation, and Howling Blast is appearing squished on the left.
I tried manually setting the spell location to primary, and nothing changed.
left is only AOE when right is occupied, i believe

Hello, did i'm the only one who have the nag stop working mid fight ? it freeze on the skill he suggest and never move again, forced to /reset class every time mid fight it's happen mostly all fight on lei shen
You need to either alt click or open the /nag options and drag it around from there.

Hello last night same happen 4-5 times freeze rotation and need a class reset to rework, i think it happen mostly when you fast tab a add or clics a ally for brez. I m on last beta and add the problem on two different computer

its just there out of choice. you may be pulling trash and seeing UB where you want to save it for bosses
